Chapter 57 - Extension

Baoshan told the group that they should take a day or two to rest up before they continued viewing the memories. Wei Wuxian told Lan Wangji he wanted to talk with his sons really quickly and he'd meet him after. Lan Wangji nodded in approval. Wei Wuxian took the boys out by the spring located on the mountain, as it was a fairly private space to chat.

"What did you want to talk to us about?" Sizhui asked.

"I haven't discussed this with your A-Die yet, but I wanted to ask you, if he and I wanted to conceive another child, what would you two say? How would you feel? I want you to be honest," Wei Wuxian told them as they sat on he ground to talk more at ease.

The boys looked at each other and nodded before looking back at Wei Wuxian, "why wouldn't we be happy? I think it would be nice to have another sibling other than Jingyi."

"It would also be nice to have another aside from Sizhui," Jingyi said, "but I thought you couldn't have any more?"

"Your great grandma Baoshan gave me something that could help me conceive again if I wanted to. I have yet to speak to your A-Die, but I will a bit later today."

"We approve, if we can help with the name," Sizhui told him, "if it's a girl I get to chose the name if it's a boy, Jingyi can."

Wei Wuxian smiled, "I'm sure you would have to argue with your A-Die about that, but I have no problem with that."

"Yes!" The boys said as they stood with Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian went back to his room but saw no sign of Lan Wangji, so he just decided to set up some of the talismans ahead of time. He didn't place the lock talisman yet as Lan Wangji wasn't there. After that he laid down. He ended up falling asleep for a while. After a couple hours, he woke up feeling well rested.

Looking around the room, Wei Wuxian's breath got caught in the back of his throat upon seeing Lan Wangji standing in the room his under robe hanging halfway off his shoulders. Wei Wuxian was aware of the fact that his hair was wet telling him that he had just gotten done with a bath. Lan Wangji turned to face him as he saw a slight sheen to Lan Wangji's skin. It was due to the fact that his hair was wet it stuck slightly to the bare skin of his chest. Wei Wuxian's eyes followed a droplet of water as it dripped down onto Lan Wangji's chest from his hair. Wei Wuxian's mouth became dry when he watched the little droplet trail down Lan Wangji's toned, muscular body and disappeared passed his navel.

Wei Wuxian swallowed and took in a deep breath to gain some composure, "Lan Zhan, come here," Wei Wuxian said sitting up on the bed and pat the spot beside him.

Lan Wangji furrowed his brow as he approached him, "what is it?" He asked.

"Come sit, I want to talk to you about something," Wei Wuxian said.

Lan Wangji nodded at sat beside him on the bed, "what is on your mind?"

"I wanted to run by you what I spoke to Baoshan about," Wei Wuxian said, "I'm just not sure if it will work but it's still worth a try."

"About what? Try what?" Lan Wangji asked.

"I asked Baoshan if there was a way for me to conceive another child," Wei Wuxian said, "I know I should have spoken to you first about it, but she gave me a supplement to try out. I had to wait at least three days to let it activate. If we don't want to then we just want to wait four more days and I will be back to normal."

"You want another child?" Lan Wangji asked.

Wei Wuxian looked down, "if you do too, I just wanted to at least be there this time to watch the kid grow. I won't be hiding away this time and we can really just live like a normal married couple. I'm sorry I didn't speak to you first."
