It was early, and the sun had just started to peek over the horizon. The book store had opened and hour before, but customers didn't show up for a while. The owner of the store walked around, straightening up books here and there as he went. Suddenly the door opened, and a young teenage girl skipped in with a bright smile on her face. Her sea blue eyes scanned the book store until they found the owner. As she approached him her wavy, jet black hair swayed a little.
"Can I help you?" The owner asked, barely glancing at the girl.
"I'd like a job here," The girl told him with a grin. "I could start tomorrow if you want?"
"I'm sorry," The owner gave her an apologetic shrug. "We don't need anyone else."
"But you don't understand," The girl's smile dropped slightly, and suddenly she looked threatening. Her once blue eyes now looked silver... although the owner was sure it was just a trick from the morning sun. "I want a job here." The owner froze. He was unsure why he had ever said no to begin with.
"I'm sure we could find you something to do," He politely smiled at her, although he felt more than slightly uneasy about the girl. "You could start tomorrow?"
"That would be great," The smile returned to the girl's face. "Thank you!"
"Don't show up late," The owner added as he got back to straightening up the books. The girl nodded before she danced outside. Her plan was perfect... She knew it. Soon she would have everything going her way, and poor Casey Williams would have to do whatever she said. The girl smirked. Casey probably would do anything she asked now... that's all she could do. Casey Williams was broken. She didn't have her dark side anymore, and Nuna thought it was about time they saw each other again.
