Haerin watched him through the glass wall as he spoke on the phone, a pang of sadness tugging at her heart as she saw the happiness flicker across his face. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy as she witnessed the affection in his voice, knowing that it wasn't meant for her.

Turning her attention back to her designs, As Haerin caressed the delicate curves of the design, she found herself lost in a sea of emotions, her heart heavy with the weight of unspoken longing. With each stroke of her fingers, memories flooded her mind, each line and twist of the ring holding a deeper significance.

"This ring was meant to be a symbol of our love," she murmured softly to herself, her voice barely above a whisper. "Each intricate pattern was meant to represent the intertwining of our souls, the bond that held us together."

She traced the looping patterns with reverence, her touch gentle and reverent. "These twists and turns symbolize the journey we embarked on together, the highs and lows that we faced side by side when we were child," she continued, her voice tinged with a hint of melancholy.

"But now, it's just a reminder of what could have been," she admitted, her words heavy with regret. "A token of a love that was never meant to be, a dream that slipped through my fingers like grains of sand."

Her eyes welled with unshed tears as she gazed at the design before her, each curve and line a poignant reminder of the love she had once held so dear. "I made this ring for us," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "But now, it's just a memory of a love that was never meant to last."
