"Robs, do I really have to go to this thing? They'll probably just have some hippie music and I'm not really into that," Steve lays in his bed as Robin throws an outfit at him.

"I want you to go, it's not like you can say we battled a monster from the Underworld when someone asks what you did over summer."

"The Upside Down," Steve corrects.

"Whatever. Please just come. I won't go by myself. I'm scared I'll run into Vickie there and I'd need you for that," Robin begs.

Steve rolls his eyes, "That'd be good! Catch some alone time with her and actually make a move."

Robin groans and throws a death stare at him. "Fine, I'll go but I'm not wearing that," he gestures to the ugly half-white-half-black shirt he needs to get rid of.

"Okay this music is decent, I'll admit." Steve looks up at the stage and a band he isn't familiar with is doing a cover of an ABBA song.

"See? It's enjoyable, right? Let's go get something to eat before the next band comes on. I want a pretzel," Robin grabs Steve's wrist and basically yanks him over to a food stand with overly salted pretzels. "Grab what you want, I'll pay since I dragged you here."

"And drove you here," he adds and he asks the cashier for a lemonade.

Robin and Steve walk back over to the stage and it's a little bit more crowded than it was before. "Hey Robs, do you know who's playing next? People seem to be gathering around." he watches as the band finishes setting up. "No I'm not sure," Robin fails to hide a smile.

"Why are you smiling?" Steve tries to get an answer out of her, but the band starts their introduction, "Hawkins! Corroded Coffin here and we're so excited to play for you guys." People cheer and Steve looks at the lead singer. Looks like another local band he has no idea about.

He turns his eyes over to the lead guitarist who also has a mic. He stares. "Is that Munson?" Steve looks over at Robin who's smiling. "He's wearing eyeliner!" He looks good. Wait. What? Steve dismisses the thought.

"Yes he is anddd he's on stage playing guitar. Truth is, he asked me to come and I just needed to see you react to his music," Robin states, slightly laughing at Steve's astounded look.

Corroded Coffins begins to sing what seems to be an original song of theirs and Steve can't help but tap his foot. Steve has never seen Eddie's band before. He wasn't even sure it actually existed.

It surely did and Steve thought they sounded good.

Eddie suddenly begins to harmonize with the lead singer. "He can sing," Steve states. His voice is nice with a slight rasp behind it.

"Right? Isn't he so hot? I try to tell him but he says my opinion doesn't count because I'm not attracted to men," Robin pretends to swoon over Eddie by fanning her face with her hand.

"Oh yeah, so hot," Steve states sarcastically and rolls his eyes, dragging them back to Eddie. He can't help but stare at Eddie on stage. He's never seen this side of him before and to be honest with himself, he was sort of interested in it. As the song ends, Robin yells her woohoo's at Eddie and he waves at her, seemingly caught off guard that Steve is with her. Nonetheless, he tilts his head and smiles at Steve.

The band plays a few more songs before taking a short break, promising to return. Eddie sets his guitar aside and jumps off the stage, heading over to Robin and Steve. "Robbie! Thanks for coming. I see you brought Harrington with you. A pleasure," he bows as if he's honoring the Queen of England, "Sooo, what did you think?"

"Are you kidding? You guys sound so good," Robin says.

"And what does pretty boy think," Eddie smiles at Steve.

"Oh uh yeah man, you guys sound good. Sorry, I'm not too familiar with the music," Steve says, scratching the back of his neck.

"Well maybe we will play something you might be familiar with. Or might not, you seem a little uncultured Stevie," Eddie winks at him and spins around, "Alright I gotta head back. Jump around a bit so I can see you." Eddie runs off to the stage.

Just then, Robin spots Vickie and they make direct eye contact, "Shit." Vickie makes her way over to Steve and her. "Hi Robin", she says when she reaches them, also giving Steve a small wave. Steve elbows Robin, "H-Hey Vickie. Are you enjoying the music?" Robin wanted to hit herself over the head for being so awkward. Before Vickie could answer, Steve jumps in, "Alright I'll catch up with you later Robin, I'm wanna get closer to the stage. Have fun," Robin sends daggers with her eyes into his back as he walks away, leaving them alone.

-----------

Later, Robin, Steve, and Eddie all catch up after the festival. "Do you guys wanna hangout tonight at my place? I could get us a pizza and we could watch movies. I also have weed but I don't know if little ol Stevie can handle that," Eddie smiles that big smirk of his, immediately challenging Steve.

"I'm in. I'll show you, Munson," Steve says confidently, even though he's only smoked once and remembers coughing up a lung or two.

"Oh okay," Munson throws his hands up in defense, "I'm letting the guys take the van back so.. let me ride with you?"
