Astrid and Hiccup arrived at school there normal time. It felt Good to Astrid to show up with a guy and not her mother driving her. Astrid went to her locker to find her best friend standing by her locker. "OMG Heather I totally forgot to call you. I'm so sorry girl". Astrid hugged Heather and she hugged back. " It's totally fine girl, I heard you are dating a new guy. I want all the details! Who is it, is he popular or a jock or a nerd? Oh I don't know who is left in this school for us to date but dang." Astrid grabbed her books and just laughed. As walking to her class, which was Animal Science, she told her everything about Hiccup." Wait hold on a sec Ast, your dating Hiccup Handcook. He is going to be the class Valavictorian and go to the top school in the Country! " Heather practically yelled this at Astrid. "Yes I'm dating Hiccup but no need to scream it into the whole word. While your at it why don't you tell everyone I'm a top A student." Astrid told Heather and practically laughed all the way to class. When arriving to the class, they both went seperate ways saying see you at lunch. Hiccup was sitting there at the lab table looking over last minute details of the presentation. Astrid walked up to the table and unpacked her stuff. While doing this Hiccup welcomed her with a smile and a small hello. While the two of them were talking Fishlegs, Tuffnut, and Ruffnut walked up to them. "Hey Fishlegs sorry I didn't answer your texts I was a little preoccupied." Hiccup said this and motioned to Astrid. "No problem Hic, I know what it's like to find that special someone". Astrid knew who he was talking about and she couldn't have been more happier. " Congratulations again Fishlegs, Heather is really happy with you." Astrid got up and Hugged Fishlegs. The 5 of them stood and talked before class startes and it was perfect to Astrid. When the bell rang they all went to there seats. Class went on like normal and everything seemed right in the world. The bell rang and Hiccup walked Astrid to her next class. He then went to his class. After the morning classes they all meet for lunch. It was Astrid, Heather, Hiccup, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut all sitting eating lunch together. It wasn't till Astrid rememered Prom was in 4 weeks. The whole grade thought she was going with Snotlout but she wasn't. She knew it was now a given that she would be going with Hiccup but it was the guys job to do the asking. Snotlout had made a big deal out of going to prom with her though, did she really want another fanfare of balloons, horses, and glitter? She answered her question when she remembered how hard it was to get the glitter out of her hair, it took her three weeks to be able to see the bottom of her shower again. The table had started talking about plans knowing they were going as a group. Hiccup leaned over to Astrid and asked "your dress is green with a hint of blue correct?" Astrid did not know what to say, her boyfriend knew what she was wearing and had never actually been shopping with her. Snotlout would have dictated to her what she was wearing and it made her internally cringe on wearing another red dress with black heels. She smiled at Hiccup taking his had and said "It's more of a green and blue dress but yes you are correct. " As the conversation went on the gang decided what they would eat, the time, and who was picking who up. The day could not come fast enough for Hiccup and Astrid.
