A COLD DAY IN JULY SERIES

Ruhan is so scared to go home. She knows her family would get so mad at her for this, especially her mother. She has just promised her mother that she wants to study well and achieve better results than Jungwon but after this happens, her mom wouldn't believe her words anymore.

The teacher has informed about this her family before school ended, Ruhan could feel that her mother wouldn't let her go this time. Ruhan feels so weak. Her mind is messing up with troubles and concerns. She can't think well at all.

She faces this kind of thing almost every day. This drives her crazy. The fact that no one would hear her and believe her make her weaker. She has no one to lean her shoulder on, she has no one to express her concern other than Jungwon.

At the same time, she doesn't want Jungwon to burden himself with her. Ruhan has done so many things that bring him trouble. Jungwon is always there to help her, he put his studying away for her. he almost did everything for her.
That makes Ruhan feel sorry.

So, she just wants to handle this alone. She believes that self-cure could help her to escape from this worst life. She decides to be alone and does everything alone until happiness comes to her. She knows that a happy ending will come to her. She believes that being patient will be worth it.

So, she decides to wait until happiness comes to her.

Ruhan goes to the house without Jungwon by her side. She leaves the meeting room secretly after the small meeting ends, and doesn't inform them about her leaving for Jungwon because she doesn't want him to worry about her. He has an academy after school ends, and Ruhan doesn't want to burden him anymore.

Even though Jungwon wants to wait, Ruhan doesn't want to be the reason he is distracted from his studying. Ruhan notices that Jihoon is also with Jungwon. She stares at him silently, then fastens her step before he realizes her presence.

  "What did I just hear from the school department today, Ha Ruhan?"

I lower my head and clench my teeth after my
mom slaps me on the face. I remain silent and shut my eyes before receiving another slap. My mom crosses her arm and starts to cry.

"Ruhan, why did you become a thief? Why did you make trouble again?"

She cries in disappointment. My dad comes toward us and calms my mom by patting her shoulder and hugging her tightly.
My mom hit me on the shoulder hard and cries harder.

She suddenly grabs a broom from the kitchen, and hit me hard on the face and my body causing me to groan in pain. I get on my knee and beg my mom to stop hugging her legs and crying.

She pushes me away,

"Don't touch me, you're such a dirty."

"You keep disappointing me."

"I have enough of you, Ruhan."

"I shouldn't put a high hope on you anymore."

"You will never be a good daughter to me."

"You will never be like Yang Jungwon."

"You will never make me proud of you."

"Everyone in the neighborhood keeps talking about you whenever they see me. They glare at me and complain about you. How should I face them after this? I'm so embarrassed."

"Is it so hard to make me proud of you?"

"You're so useless."

"Why don't you just kill yourself at this point?"
