"Come on, Jake. Be serious!" Aurora shouted out frustrated.

"I am serious!"

"That's stupid! You'd rather cook meat using lightning instead of a fire in a can?"

"If it was a trash can I'd change my mind, I'm not waiting an hour and a half to cook meat over a can of soup."

"So you'd rather wait out in a thunderstorm in hopes that you might be struck by lighting?"

"You never specified thunderstorm or waiting, you said lightning or fire in a can. I'm just being realisitc."

"You're an idiot if you think lightning is more plausible than an actual fire you can make in minutes using a can."

Jacob shrugged, "Call me an idiot all you like, at least I'll be eating my meat by the time your fire is started."

Aurora glared at him and shook her head, facing her attention back to the road. They were in Bella's truck, with the princess herself asleep on the opposite side of Jake. Ever since she had started hanging out with Jacob, it almost seemed like her insane nightmares had stopped.

Aurora took a look in her rear view mirror to see the tarp covering the bikes in the bed of the truck. She shook her head once more feeling frustrated. Although she had been against the rebuilding of the bikes, they had been fixed up anways. The three were on their way now to a safe place to test them out, and she couldn't have been more thrilled.

They were driving around the mountains when out of the driver side window, Aurora saw a cliff. Standing on top was a group of guys from the res. They were all shirtless.

"Hey, is that Sam Uley?"

Jacob followed her gaze. "Yeah, looks like him and his cult."

Aurora side eyed him when she watched as two of the shirtless boys wrestled one over the cliff. "Oh my--" Aurora pulled off to the side in a rush, which woke Bella up. She jumped out of the driver seat and ran across the road to see if he was okay.

Jake chuckled as he followed her out. "They're not fighting, Rora. They're cliff diving." Aurora turned from Jake back to the cliff. "Scary as hell, but it's a total rush."

"Huh," she sighed in relief as she watched another boy jump in shouting in a thrilled rush.

Jacob joined Aurora at her side and watched the way she stared. He laughed. "You really want to try it, don't you?"

Aurora bit her bottom lip. She was by no means reckless, but this was a recreational pastime. She was adventurous. Aurora turned back to Jake with that usual bright smile.

"You know how to get back to my house from here?" She nodded. Jacob headed back to the truck where Bella sat confused. Under normal circumstances, Aurora was certain Jacob wouldn't let her try something so crazy without him there, but it gave him and Bella some alone time. "Don't strip in front of those guys or I'll kill em and you." There's big brother Jacob.

She sent a thumbs up. "Got it! No stripping... unless there's a cute guy?"

"I'll hunt you down, Swan!" She waved him off and jogged beside the road until it turned into woods. The cliff wasn't far off from the road, it was a relatively short walk. As she approached the cliff with the newly soaked shirtless guys, she realized she was dressed all wrong. Ripped cargo pants and a tight cropped sweater, not really the swimming attire.

When they finally noticed her, she noticed only three of the four were there. Sam Uley was there, and one of those guys she had almost ran over a few weeks ago.

"Aurora?"

She turned to the third and took a minute to scan over his face. Oh my gosh... "Bree?"

He came at her drenched from the ocean below and picked her up in a soaking wet hug. She laughed at his confidence, something about that haircut must have changed him was all she could think.
