Sitting in my room I watched the screen in front of me, trying to cure the boredom I was slowly dying from. I sighed and shut off the TV, flopping back on my bed I racked my brain with things I could do. Steve and the gang went MIA 2 weeks ago, after Max had some kind of incident. I missed them, I missed my brother, and I missed Steve.
We didn't tell anyone but we... had a "special night" right before he vanished and he said he would call in the morning and there was no call. No letter, no message, not even a knock at my window. He simply was gone, as well as the kids, and my brother. I saw Joyce a few days ago at the store but she didn't say much to me. I was also home alone so there was no one here I could try and bother either.
I heard static coming from the living room, furrowing my eyebrows I opened my door.
"Mom?" I called down the stairs, no reply. Walking down into the living room I saw that the TV was turned on, but no one was in sight. I looked around once more before walking to the remote and shutting off the TV. God that was weird. I went to walk back upstairs, hearing the TV turn on again. I stopped in the hall, sighing I turned around quickly but my surroundings weren't familiar. The room was red and flaky, it was hot and smelt like something terrible.
I walked forward and heard a crunch under my feet, looking down it was a photo I kept on my nightstand, picking it up I watched the broken glass fall. It was me, Steve, Dustin, Max, Lucas, Will, Mike and El. I folded it, placing it into my pocket.
"Hello Y/n." I looked around to see where the voice was coming from but saw no one.
"I know you're a fan of games, so let's play one." I spun around quickly, but to no avail I saw not a soul in this red world I was in.
"Hide and seek, your favorite." My breathing was shaky and my head was starting to pound again. The headaches i'd been getting were getting worse by the day.
Steve POV
"Dustin, Y/n said she was getting headaches and we all IGNORED HER. SHE IS IN DANGER!" I sped through the streets to get to Y/n. I was stressed, we had been so busy trying to save Max and keep her out of Vecna's grip I didn't even think to check on Y/n, I didn't even call after the night we had a few weeks ago.
"Steve it' ok! We are on our way to her, don't panic yet." I let out a huff, pulling into her yard I shut off the car and stormed up to the front door. I didn't see any cars in the driveway so she must be home alone. Dustin, Lucas and Max followed in suit and I knocked on the door. Instead of hearing a thud, the door simply opened. I looked at the gang and they all shrugged.
"Y/n.. are you home?" We walked in, seeing no one else in the house. The living room was empty, the kitchen and dining room as well. I walked upstairs and knocked on her door, seeing as it also just opened. I looked in and saw her, sitting on her bad, her back faced towards me.
"Hey Y/n, I was so worried you wouldn't be he-" Making my way to face her I saw my worst fear. Her eyes were rolled in the back of her head and she was cold as ice.
"No no no no. Y/n, come back! Listen to me! Y/N!" The kids rushed in after me and stopped in her doorway seeing as I was crouched in front of her. Dustin stopped in his tracks and the tears were immediate, he loved his sister more than anything, and now here she was being taken away.
Y/n POV
"No! I don't like hide and seek.." I could feel the tears streaming down my face thinking of the game I played as a child with my babysitter. The chills that ran down my spine. Feeling a breeze on my shoulder I looked next to me to see him, he stood taller than me like he always had, the same black beanie on.
