Y/n POV

Steve pulled into the hospital parking lot as I continued to breath through a contraction. The pain was unreal and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to actually have this baby. He came to my side and opened my door, he knelt down and grabbed my hand.

"It will only last a few more seconds, you got this." His thumb rubbed over my knuckles and I felt the contraction pass. I let out a sigh and nodded. He grabbed my bag from the back seat and helped me out of the car, walking with me to the front doors.

"Good evening, my girlfriend is about to have her baby and we need a room. I called about half an hour ago, Steve Harrington and Y/n Y/L/n." The receptionist looked on her system and nodded.

"I see you two here, let me just get the nurse and she will walk you two to your room. Congratulations!" She smiled at us. I have her a warm smile back.

"Thank you, we're so nervous!" She giggled.

"It's normal to be nervous, but children are the BEST blessing." I smiled at her, this comforted me a bit more for some reason. I followed Steve to the waiting room and sat next to him as we waited for the nurse to call our name.

"Harrington party?" Steve stood up and waved his hand, he turned to me, helping get me up from my chair and holding my hand we walked towards the nurse.

"Miss would you like a wheelchair?" I shook my head at her. Though my waddling probably led her to believe I needed one.

"No I can walk, thank you tho!" She smiled and nodded, she walked with us to our room, it was fairly spacious and I let out a comfortable sigh as I sat down on the bed. Not comfy like ours at home but comfy enough to have a baby in.

"Okay Y/n, I will need you to get undressed and put on this gown for me. I'll be back in a few minutes to get all your monitors and things set up." She left the room and I stood up, slowly taking off my shirt and the pajama pants I had been living in. Steve helped me take off my bra and he tied the gown behind my neck and around my waist for me, as I couldn't reach back there with my arms.

"Thank you baby." I said as I sat back down on the bed. He seemed so nervous, obviously, I was too.

"You ok?" I asked as he continued pacing the room.

"Me? Yeah I'm fine. Just you know, the nerves are starting to kick in a little." I smiled and nodded at him.

"Yeah, same here." He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me, and I laid my head in his shoulder.

"I am also, so excited to meet our baby." I nodded into his shoulder. We sat like this for a few minutes until I heard a knock on the door, the nurse walked back in and sighed.

"Alrighty, are we ready to get you all set up?" I nodded.

"I'm ready." She hooked so many cords to me, sticky patches with so many different colored wires and cords that hooked into, what seemed, a million different machines.

"Okay, you are all set up. I will be monitoring you from my work station, if you need anything just press this call button." She motioned to a red button on the side of my bed. "... and when the time comes, I will grab doctor and we will get this baby out of ya!" She clapped and I giggled at her enthusiasm.

"Thank you so much nurse Kayla." She smiled and left the room. The next few hours were pretty boring, it was just contraction after contraction, and then I took a few little naps as well as Steve.

I woke up from one of my many mini naps and saw 6 people starring back at me. I smiled at them and sat up a little bit.

"Well hello kids." They all smiled and waved.
