Everyone was dead quiet.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Is this it then?" I asked. Someone had to break the ice and snap them out of it. All eyes turned to me. "Are we seriously just going to stare at each other forever? Are you guys really going to give up searching for an exit because of a stupid bear? If we got in, we can get out, you can't give up yet!" I shouted.

Everyone just stared at me for a moment, before their eyes of distrust diminished. Their postures slightly relaxed as they listened to my words.

"...Y/n is right. We can't give up yet. I suggest we split up and report our findings later." Tsurugi spoke up.

"Split up!? Have you ever seen a horror movie!?" Kizuna hissed.

"W-We should go in teams.." Kakeru meekly suggested.

"I'm going alone." Rei blankly stated before walking out, her heels clacking against the wooden gym floor and down the hallway.

"...I'm going to look for a stairway. Does anyone want to join me?" Ayame asked.

"Sure." Haru smiled wide, probably just wanting to be alone with a girl. They began to walk off.

"Wait fo' me! I wanna come too!" Teruya ran after them, chasing off Haru's nonexistent chance with Ayame.

"I'm going to investigate the school again. Y/n, do you want to come with me?" Yuki asked, a small blush on his face when he realized how I could have interpreted that. Someone, probably Mitch or Kizuna, snorted.

"Um, s-sure." I'm not sure what to think of him right now, but I still shouldn't just humiliate him.

I awkwardly followed him out of the gym and into the hallway.

"So..um..why me?" I asked. The two of us continued to walk as he thought of an answer.

"W-Well, before I got here, I researched some of the Ultimates, but... I never heard of you. I guess I just wanted to learn more about you."

"Well...I'm not very popular, I mean... I'm nothing compared to Tsurugi or Rei. My talent just revolves around playing video games..."

"Oh... well, what kinda games do you play?"

"I like all sorts of games really, like....." I told him about some of my favorite games.

"I...don't think I've heard of them before." He admitted.

"Seriously?" Isn't he an average kid who likes video games? Everyone has heard of....wait. This isn't my world.

I remembered in the sequel where the real Yuki talked about Emma Magorobi in "Henry Peter". If  Harry Potter had a rip-off in this world, maybe my favorite games did as well.

"Uh no. I'd say I play a lot of video games, but I can't compare to the Ultimate Gamer. Maybe you could show me them when we escape this place." He smiled.

"....Yeah... when we escape..." I thought about his fate.

Can I find a way to save him? Does he even deserve to be saved?

"So, uh...what about you, Yuki? What do you like to do?"  I asked, noticing he seemed worried about my lack of a response.

"Well, I-...huh? What is this place?" Yuki stepped forward and looked around. We were so busy talking that we didn't realize where we were. I noticed the Monomono machine immediately along with the games and other artifacts.
