Chapter Twenty-One

"Fuck, fuck, fuck! Faster baby. Im gonna... I'm gonna-" The now sweaty blonde shouts from underneath me.

"Not yet darling... wait for me." I pant out as I move my hips faster and faster.

"I can't.. shit! I can't.. OH FUCK!" Scarlett screams whilst her head falls deeper into her pillow and her back arches perfectly.
As she is still coming down from her high theres a loud knock at the door...

And suddenly I'm back to reality and it was all a dream...
It takes me a few seconds to realise that the knocking was real and whoever the hell it is has a lot to answer for, that was a really good god damn dream.

I attempt to get up and make my way to the front door when a weight on my chest stops me from going any further. I lay back down and look down to my chest. Its Scarlett, I didn't even realise that I was still at her house, This asshole at the door didn't really give me anytime to take in my surroundings.
I smile at the sleeping beautiful in front of me, she looks just as beautiful sleeping as she does when shes awake. I carefully move her sleeping body onto the empty pillow beside me hoping I won't wake her. Mission accomplished by the way.
I'm pretty sure it's just an impatient mail man at the door or something so I take my time slipping on my T-shirt and boxers from last night. I then grab my phone and check the time as I drag my half asleep self down the stairs.
07:42am. Damn this motherfucker is early. I unlock the door and place my phone on a counter as I open the door to reveal who the extremely annoying bitch is.
Now I didn't expect this motherfucker to be standing at Scarlett's door... when I said annoying motherfucker, I was very correct.
He looks just as shocked to see me as I am him...

Colin...

Okay so I have to be nice about this right..? I can't just be a complete dick. I've only met the guy once and that was a few years ago at a party and I didn't entirely like him then and now he's here in front of me again, nothing has changed.
Oh shit wait this is awkward... I'm at his ex wife's house at 7 in the morning. Oh and lets not forget about the fact I'm not wearing any trousers for christ sake!!

"Colin! Hi! Uhm I'm Y/N. We met at a party a few years ago?" I break the silence. I decide to be nice and civil and hold my hand out for a nice little handshake. Thats what nice people do I guess...right?
He looks me up and down with a face of disgust and completely ignores my handshake.

"Yeah cool. You took your time answering to door. Where's Scarlett?" He rudely spits. What a dick.

"Shes sleeping right now, but I can tell her you stopped by. How did you know where she lives now?  Shes only just moved in here?" I question.

He crosses his arms over his chest and stands up straighter than he was already. I think he's trying to make himself look taller?? To me he looks like someones just shoved a stick up his ass but whatever.
He clears his throat before finally speaking back up.

"Scarlett gave me the address a few days ago, said she wanted me to come over but I was out of town.. I got back yesterday." He explains.

What the fuck? Why would she ask him to come over? No... surely not. Im not going to just assume the worst. Maybe there is a reasonable explanation for this.

"Okay uh would you like to come in? I can try and wake her up but Im not 100% sure she will wake up, busy night you see." I offer. Eat that you bastard, I had her last night not you. 1 point to me and 0 to this asswipe.

"Sure." Colin bluntly replies and walks straight in.
I close the door and we make our way further into the house. He stands in the kitchen and I make my way upstairs. Hopefully I can get a full explanation on this. And some trousers, that would be great.
I walk over to the bed and sit beside Scarlett. Her mouth is open slightly and little light snores fall out of her mouth. She is so adorable. I place my hand gently on top of her head and begin to play with her hair before whispering out to her.
"Scar, wake up darling."
She doesn't respond the first time so I continue playing with her hair and give her head a few light kisses. She finally wakes up and I'm met with her beautiful emerald green eyes.
"Good morning." She speaks in that raspy  morning voice that makes me weak at the knees.
"Morning beautiful. You have a visitor waiting for you downstairs." I tell her as I get up and grab my trousers, putting them on.

"Who is it?" Scarlett asks as she sits up and stretches.

"You'll have to come and see." I tease. If I don't tell her then I'll see her true reaction when she sees Colin standing in her kitchen. Im not too sure why I want to see her reaction but maybe then I could get some idea as to why he's here?

"Hm okay well let me just get dressed and ready and I'll be straight down okay?" She says whilst holding the cover over her exposed chest.

"Okay. Would you like a coffee?" I ask.
"Yes please." She smiles at me. I return the smile and walk back down to the asswipe.

I walk into the kitchen and make Scarlett her drink but I can feel Colin's eyes watching my every move. I chose to ignore it and be the bigger person by not saying anything but he's standing right in front of where all the cups are so I now have no choice but to ask him to move his ass because he's clearly not getting the message as I stand in front of him. Dumbass.
"Sorry can I just get in the cupboard behind you?"

He doesn't say anything back but he does move out of the way. I grab the cup and go to head back to my original position but I'm stopped by the short ass man who has ruined my morning.
"So you're screwing my wife?"
Oh okay so he wants to go there does he.

"She's not your wife anymore Colin. Excuse me." I bluntly reply hoping he won't show himself up by thinking he could win this argument against me.
Of course he doesn't move. He folds his arms over his chest once again and attempts to make himself look taller like he did earlier on at the door. Does he think he can intimidate me?
"Well yes she is, the divorce papers haven't been signed."
Wait what the fuck? I thought they signed them a while ago now. They both released statements saying they are officially divorced. Im not going crazy? That definitely happened everyone on social media was going crazy? Me and Alyssa definitely spoke about it..

Just then, I come to a really shitty realisation.
Even if they have split up..

Im still sleeping with a married woman...
