"Mmmh, this is so good!" Devin exclaimed as he took his fourth bite into his chicken. He always loved Korean food. It was the best to him, of course he loves all food and cultures equally, but this was his favorite. He was pigging out on food which was the greatest time for him.
"Slow down your going to choke," Sobah said as he handed his friend a bunch of napkins.
The trio were enjoying a nice night out eating and drinking soju. Nubbie wasn't saying much only taking bites of tteokbokki with fish cakes and a few pieces of chicken. "Nubbie are you okay? I would think you would eat more food then this, Devin told me you barely ate before the event and with your six wins tonight you should be happy, yes?" Sobah said.
She looked at him with glossed over eyes as her phone lit up her face she softly slid it to him and his face was shocked with horror. He turned to Devin tapped his arm. "What is it Sobah? I am trying to eat some..." His words stopped as he looked at the headline on one article. "Chicken,"

"Wait what the fuck is going on?" Devin said.
"I don't know I was just scrolling through fans comments and congratulations and I was sent this," Nubbie said as she wiped tears.
"Don't cry Nubbie, we just have to call you agency and get this defamatory articles down and sue them, then we gotta figure out the source of this madness," Sobah said.
The night had been spoiled as Devin spent the rest of it along side Sobah defending Nubbie's honor. Explaining the situation but more and more people just attacked her and Devin.

There were so many comments flooding in her DMs and Devin's. He was called all types of ugly names that he had become numb to. His family was threaten, even Sobah was threaten. He didn't give a shit about those haters but he did care about the affect it was having on Nubbie's mental state. She portrays herself as strong all the time even when she was the leader of Bangtan girls. She must have felt so lonely through it all. He tried to call her after the dinner to see how she was doing, but her phone went to voicemail. He sighed and showered for the night, before retiring to his room.
Sobah was already gone again probably to a woman's house. He has been gone for a few days now. He wondered if the stress of taking care of his friend that was out of work was getting to him. He tried to not think this way and to appreciate the things his friend did for him but his mind was cursing him and giving him hell for not being able to find one single job to satisfy him.
He sighed again and redialed Nubbie's number. Again. It went to voicemail. He locked his phone and tossed it on the nightstand, he had given up the notion of getting in contact with her and assumed she will come to him when she needed him. Just as he was about to retire to bed he heard a knock on the front door. He got up from his bed and slipped on a bathrobe and went to see who it was.
"Who is it?" He called as he looked through the peephole.
He was shocked to see Nubbie at his door. He opened it and faced a distraught friend. He pulled her into a hug as she was sobbing into his shoulder. He knew the feeling of your name being slandered on and tainted. When Terra and him were going through arguments before the divorce she would slander his name causing him to lose clients and business. He would never forgive her for that. He wasn't sure if this appearance with Nubbie would change anything, but right now he knew she needed him.
"Are you okay?" He said as he tilted her head towards him to see her better.
She shook her head. "My company is discussing dropping me because of her, what about the tour with Yoonji? And my album? And the music I worked so hard to produce for them over the years when I was in the band? Did it mean nothing?"
He pulled her into another hug but this one was tighter than the last. Nubbie used her hand to shut his door before embracing him fully. The smell of her perfume was intoxicating having her so close was intoxicating and dangerous. She was so soft, warm, and fragile. "Devin?" She called.
He snapped out of he trance and looked at her. "Yes?" He asked.
She grabbed his face and pulled him in for a kiss. It was passionate and needy. Like she needed him more than just emotional. As much as he wanted to kiss her back with the same intensity he stopped himself.
"Nubbie," he called. She looked at him with sad eyes. "You don't want me, I get it." She said as she collected herself and her things.
She opened the door again to leave but not before Devin pulled her back in and slammed the door shut. "I want you, but now when you are emotionally fragile and vulnerable, please baby just sit and talk with me," he said.
