🦋The right people hear you differently🦋

Cassandra's pov:

As soon as I reached the antique boutique, I put my bag behind the counter and walked around to pick up the stuff that was thrown out of the shelves overnight.

It was a daily routine.

First, I pick up the books and put them back on the shelves. Then I looked around for the crystal rocks that I usually keep on top of those books and place them back.

I then pick up the other stuff and put the antique boutique together, nice and clean.

Just as I was putting the last object in a box, I felt something hit the back of my leg hard making me winced in pain.

"Motherfucker." I murmured, reaching down to rub the sore area.

I turned around and found one of my paperweights on the floor. It was one of those raicine, heavy paperweight, no wonder my leg was still hurting.

Sighing, I bend to pick it up.

I was about to stand up when I felt a gush of wind and something else was thrown over my head, missing me, hitting the floor.

This time it was a book.

"Ok, whoever is here you know that I can see you, feel you and communicate with you. So stop this and come in front of me." I stated firmly.

I slowly stood up looking around.

However, there was no one and all activity stopped. I can sense bad energy or evil energy but this one was different. It seems like a child energy.

Maybe the child is throwing stuff at me to get my attention and it needs my help...

"If you need help I can help you," I added.

There was a knock on one of the shelves. I made my way there and looked around. A paper flew from there and landed on the ground so I reached to pick it up.

It was one of the old papers that my mom kept from her 'rescue mission'. I roamed my eyes on the paper and a particular image caught my eye, it was a tombstone from the cemetery.

"You want me to go to the cemetery," I said aloud.

There was a knock, right behind me.

Well, the message was clear.

I kept the paper with me and went to grab my bag before making my way out.

---

I reached the cemetery and parked. Like usual it was empty and dead silent. I stepped outside and I instantly felt the sadness and anger of this place.

This morning when I dressed up I thought that I would have a calm day at the boutique and later on, I will ask Raelynn to accompany me to the mall but here I am in the cemetery clearly unprepared.
