Raelynn's pov:

"Sit down," Theo told me.

I pulled the chair in front of me and sit down, crossing my left leg on my right leg as I leaned my back against the chair. All the time his eyes followed my movement.

Theo and Valentino went to stand to his sides.

"I'm Kyson Lucero and you are..." he trailed off, waiting for my name. Damn his voice was icy cold, showing he only mean business.

So be it.

"Raelynn," I replied, not giving my surname. I don't know if he already knows about my identity but if he doesn't, it won't give him clues.

"I only want to ask you a few questions-"

"That's what I've been hearing the whole time. How about you ask them now." I interrupted him, my voice holding no emotion.

He isn't the only one who can get emotionless and cold...

"How do you know Henrick?" He questioned.

"I don't know him," I replied truthfully.

Jules contacted Ryker to find Henrick. I only saw his pictures and got the information on where he will be and how we plan to get him.

"Lying won't help-"

"I'm not lying. I saw Henrick but I don't know him personally." I stated, interrupting him again.

He clenched his jaw, staring at me. I stared right back.

"Why did he leave you?" Theo was the one who ask this question. He had an unreadable expression on his face as he try to understand whatever was in his mind. However, he made me confused.

"Left me?" I repeated.

Valentino opened a file and put it on the table before sliding it in front of me. I looked down and my eyes landed on some pictures of girls. All of them were different and so pretty.

"He kidnapped all of them. Why did he leave you?" Kyson inquired.

What?

Henrick kidnap girls?

What the heck, I thought he was only a thief...

I took a few minutes to answer as I was contemplating whether to tell them the truth or lie. Meanwhile, Valentino moved and grabbed the laptop on the table before turning it around and pressing play.

I watched myself on the screen with Henrick.

"You seemed closed," Kyson added making me scoff absent-mindedly.

"Oh please, I have better taste than this."

The screen froze and a few minutes later, it went back to normal. They saw me leave with Henrick but they didn't see Jace or Ryker.

"Again why did he leave you?" Theo demanded.

"Because Karma did its thing," I replied firmly.

"Karma?" Valentino repeated.

"He got kidnapped." I elaborated.

Both Theo and Valentino shared a look while Kyson looked lost in his thoughts.

"By who?" Kyson questioned.

"The Rebel Twins," I replied.

"You work with the Rebel Twins?" Theo asked more firmly this time.
