chapter vi.
the alive booger
BELLA SLID INTO HER USUAL SEAT, pulling out her biology book and today decides on taking a book out. Bella is reading a midsummer night dream by William Shakespeare for English and her essay due in by last period so she had lunch time and recess to sit in the library and write it out by hand it was meant to be one full side of a page which was a lot too write with around 45 minutes too write it. Bella knew she had it handled though but it was slowing her down writing little notes in the corners and annotating the book as she goes, she's about 3/4 way through the book and needed to finish it by Friday and it was Wednesday.
Bella was slightly confused on when she didn't see the usual head full of curls sat at the front of the class eager and ready too learn 5 minutes before the bell went. She pushes the odd feeling aside and goes back too reading her book, pulling the bookmark out as she opens the page and begins to read, her legs leant against the metal poles of the desk and slumped in her chair, how a boy would sit but she doesn't really care all that much.
The door too the classroom opens and Bella looks up from her book and her face seems too light up when Max walks through, she smiles as the red head walks into the room and heads for her seat in front of Bella which she will forever be grateful for. "Morning." Max greets, sliding into her seat and placing her bag onto the floor, turning to face Bella.
"Good morning." The Sinclair girl answers, glancing up at Max and then back at her book. The Mayfield girl leans over Bella's desk and peers into what she is reading. Bella looks up at her through, her head tilting upwards and her breath leaving her body when she realises her face is inches away from the red head. Their so close Isabella can feel Max's breath on her lips that are now parted and makes them tingle.
Unbeknown to Bella, Max feels her chest tighten and her stomach flutter too life again as she looks at Bella, feeling Bella's heavy breath on her face. The red head clears her throat, ignoring the sudden arising tension between the two girls and then sits back down, "What -- what are you reading?" She asks, chewing on her bottom lip, glancing around the room too see if anyone picked up on the tension. The last thing Max needs is a rumour spreading around the school about this and then Billy finding out from someone, it would not be good.
