LANNELE, belly, Laurel, Ilana and Susannah all went shopping to find the perfect dresses for the girls.
"oh look I really want to go to that shop." Lanelle exclaimed while pointing at a clothing store.
"Let's go then." Belly chuckled while linking her arm with Lanelle's.
They went into the store and Lanelle was fascinated.
"I'm living the dream" she sighed while putting her hands over her heart.
Susannah and Ilana were picking clothes and showing them to the girls, to see if they liked it or not. While Laurel was looking around the store with a worried look.
"Isn't that pretty." Susannah asked Ilana with a smile while having clothes in her hands, that she thought would fit Lanelle amazingly, while Lanelle just stood there like a rag doll.
I like that." Ilana replied
Belly, and Lanelle picked up glasses and started posing with them. "Yes, girls!" Ilana hyped them up.
"These glasses are amazing right?" Belly pointed out
"Yes, belly we look amazing!" Lanelle beamed while she kept posing.
Ilana picked up a dress for belly, "oh, I like that one!" Belly exclaimed while picking up the dress.
"Don't you just love shopping" Lanelle dreamily sighed, while holding a set of clothes in her arms.
Laurel picked out a set of two for Lanelle. It was a skirt and a crop top but it matched.
"You like this one, nell's?" Laurel asked in excitement, she was enjoying it now.
"Yes! Thank you Laur." Lanelle exclaimed while giving her a kiss on the cheek as a sign of appreciation.
Lanelle gasped,
"Bell's you would look amazing in this" she handed her the dress.
Belly side hugged her, "this is amazing, thanks nell's!"
Lanelle and belly went to separate changing rooms and started changing into the dresses or the skirts.
Lanelle came up first in a white dress with flowers on it. She gave them a spin while laughing, the dress was nothing for her.
"I don't think so" Susannah laughed
Next up was Belly, she also gave them a small twirl in a blue dress with little polka dots on it while wearing a humongous white hat.
"No, Bell's you're not wearing that." Lanelle immediately told her
Lanelle changed into a, red skirt with red flowers on them and a red crop top to match with it.
"What do you think?" she asked them
"It's a bit basic for a debutante ball isn't it, I'm going to change" she told them without letting them answer first.
They changed stores, while holding the bags with the clothes that they just bought.
"Okay, they're called "fascinators", and all the girls will be wearing them."
Susannah informed them, while they're were walking on the sidewalk.
Lanelle smiled at the way that Susannah was passionately talking about the debutant ball. It made her happy seeing Susannah happy. But that smile quickly disappeared when she saw what Susannah was talking about.
"Seriously?" Laurel asked her with a tone of disbelief
"Seriously!" Susannah repeated
"I don't know about this." Lanelle spoke up with a hint of unsureness.
"Come on."
Susannah said while going inside the shop. The rest just followed.
Belly went up first, and she was wearing a big fluffy white dress, with a v-neck.
"Oh, boy" Ilana laughed
"That's...No, put that away." Laurel told her
Lanelle went up with a, white satin,straight across dress, with spaghetti straps.
"It's good." Laurel complimented her
Susannah sighed and waved around.
Lanelle didn't know what she meant, so she looked at Susannah with furrowed brows.
"Next one" her mother told her
Lanelle sighed and went to the changing room, belly went up again, with a fluffy white dress but this time the top part of the dress was different.
"Hmm." Her mother hummed in acceptance
Susannah pointed at the dress, and "no" she rejected.
"What?" Ilana asked in confusion.
"Really?" Susannah asked her while nodding at the dress.
Belly was tired of the moms rejecting her dresses so she sat down in her poofy dress.
"Come on one more dress bell's" Lanelle tried to convince her.
"Fine." She muttered while getting back in the changing room
The girl changed an they both stepped out in the most beautiful dresses.
Lanelle was wearing a white satin dress with a cowl neck, spaghetti straps and a split at the bottom so you could see a part of her leg.
Belly was wearing a longs white dress with a slight fluffy ending, and a v-neck. "Oh my god."
The three moms said in synch, but each of them with a different tone.
"Yeah, uh, it's-it's something." Laurel stumbled over her words while trying to compliment them.
"Oh, you both look like princesses." Susannah dreamily sighed.
"Pretty princesses." Ilana added
"Belly looks like the Tooth fairy, and Nelly looks like Elsa." Laurel commented
"Ah, look at this color." Susannah exclaimed while touching Lanelle's dress. "And oh! It's so soft" she gasped.
"Look... at that detail!" She exclaimed while looking at Belly's dress.
Susannah turned them around and put her hands on their shoulders. "Everybody's eyes will fall out of their heads when they see our girls." She cheered
Ilana also walked up to them, "oh you girls are just beautiful" she sighed while side hugging them.
"I love you so much Lana and beck, but you're both being ridiculous."
"We love you so much, and we know we're ridiculous." Ilana retorted while laughing.
"Or, what about this one?" The worker of the shop asked while holding up a beautiful white dress.
"No, no, no that's too plain." Susannah rejected really fast.
"But it does seem more like Belly" Laurel reasoned
"Wait so we've all agreed that I can keep this dress right" Lanelle interjected
"Yes, sweetie" Laurel smiled
"Laur, trust me these girls go all out." Susannah informed her.
"Do we have everything?" Ilana chimed in
"Yes! I'll go pay" Susannah exclaimed while running to the cashier
"Do you actually think that this is a good idea?" Laurel asked her best friend, while Susannah was gone.
"Yeah, of course anything for Susannah right?" Ilana replied
"Alright let's go girls!" Susannah ushered them out of the store and into the car
