LANELLE CHUCKLED AT LOUIS's impression of the couple that kept stepping on each others feet.
"You're not that bad a dancer." Lanelle complimented him, as he got most of the moves right.
"Why thank you." He thanked her in a posh accent.
Lanelle shook her head at the boy a smile growing on her face, but her eyes spotted Belly from across the room where she was dancing with Nicole as she didn't have an escort yet.
As Lanelle kept dancing she heard a very recognisable voice from across the room.
"Hey ladies. Mind if I have this dance?"
The girl's eyes immediately found the blue eyes boy's. Nicole steps aside and let Jeremiah take Belly's hand while his other hand was wrapped around her waist.
Steven takes off his coat and gives it to Jeremiah, so he can blend in more and that he doesn't look naked.
He starts leading Belly across the dance floor. But the thing is, while he was dancing with Belly his eyes kept glancing back at Lanelle. It seemed like he wanted her to see him dance with Belly.
Lanelle rolled her eyes at the boy as she kept dancing with Louis.
"Trouble in paradise?" He spoke up, catching the glances that were thrown.
Lanelle shrugged, "Let's not focus on him."
As they kept dancing and throwing jokes around, Lanelle could hear some of the debs whisper about Jeremiah.
"I heard he doesn't do deb balls."
"I asked him to escort me twice."
"Wow iron woman, you're crushing on a player?" Louis teased her.
Lanelle playfully rolled her eyes at the boy, "Shut up you nincompoop."
Louis purposefully stepped on her foot,
"Am I still a nincompoop?"
The girl laughed at the boy, "Yes! A nincompoop is a foolish person. You purposely stepping on my foot doesn't help your case."
Lanelle and Louis full on stopped dancing and started stepping on each other's feet. They kept laughing — Lanelle could feel eyes on her so she looked to the side and saw Steven.
He was dancing with Shayla but his eyes were stoic, the sight of Lanelle and Louis dancing together while practically dying of laughter — made him feel frustrated. Every time he's with Shayla the only person he can think about is Lanelle everything she does drives him crazy. And he doesn't understand why she had such a big impact on him.
Lanelle broke the eye contact not wanting to spend another second in this room with Steven after the past events. He still doesn't know that she knows.
