"NELLY" Isabel started while dragging out the last letters.
Lanelle sighed "just tell me what you want."
"What? Who said that I wanted anything." Belly scoffed.
Lanelle only gave her a look in response.
Belly sighed, "Can you come to the drive in tonight, with cam, louis and I?"
"Sure" Lanelle shrugged her shoulders.
"I would really love to have you there because your my best friend and a-" Belly continued, not realising that Lanelle already agreed to go with her.
"I'll go." Lanelle repeated herself.
That caught belly of guard. "What, really?" she exclaimed in astonishment.
"Do I really have to repeat myself, again?"
"No, no, no. That's great!" Belly beamed in excitement.
Susannah walked into the room with the biggest smile.
"You both look really cute. You all are going to have so much fun tonight."
"We're just going to see a movie." Belly waved her off.
"Wait, Susannah already knew about it?"
Lanelle sat up from the couch, with her magazine in her hands.
"Oh! What are you looking at?" Susannah tried to change topic.
"You know, I'm just looking at the pages. I'm bored." she whined with her head thrown back
"Not for long, because you're going out on a date!" Ilana exclaimed.
"I'm not going on a date, boys are gross." Lanelle started acting as if she was puking.
"And the Oscar goes to... Lanelle Sabio." Belly acted as if she had a microphone for in her hand.
" I always knew I'd make it." Lanelle started whipping her non existent tears away.
"You both look so pretty." Laurel chimed in.
"Thank you, Laur." Lanelle smiled at the compliment
"I can't believe crop tops are back." Susannah remarked, since belly and Lanelle were wearing crop tops.
"Remember how I thought I was such hot shit in that baby tee I wore freshman year?" Susannah continued.
Ilana laughed, "have fun tonight girls." Ilana smiled at them.
Belly got up from the chair prepared to leave with Lanelle,
"wait are you both not driving with us?" Laurel asked them not aware that they were going to the drive in.
"Uh" Belly started.
"Didn't they tell you? Nelly and Belly have a date." Susannah stepped in.
"Sorry, mom. My date's name is Cam and Nelly's date is Louis." Belly beamed in excitement.
