I honestly don't know how to feel about this ship. I mean I still ship it... -IDK.. I like they're children too, but I don't normally judge ships by children...

(• Leaf x Crow was a revolting ship in my opinion; yet their children (except for Lionblaze) were great... Let's not forget Turtle Tail x Tom ship from which Pebble Heart aroused from...

• Meanwhile the heartmelting Fire x Sand ship generated THoSe contempt-deserving she-cats... (in my opinion of course)..)

It seemed more like a FireSand case where cats who'd reproached each other since apprenticehood gradually evolved into mates (likely because one abhorred a trait of the other (aka. kittypet roots or an obnoxious personality)).

Except the Hawk x Pebble case progressed much more rapidly, and without any naturally occurring barriers to spice up the relationship. (being carried away occurred after conceiving). There weren't much explicit checkpoints or turningpoints for us to discern along the way either.

One minute Pebblepaw is going off all rambunctious with Duskpaw to some vile place while Duskpaw convinced his brother that there was worth behind Pebblepaw's petulance and that they were rather alike. Then another Hawkpaw blamed himself for his brother's lack of rescue and lashed out at the cat who thwarted him and likely instigated the rascal run-off (or was that Duskpaw **insert bewildered but still pensive emoji**.

Then another Hawkwing- taking his mothers advice while still weighed with his father's bitterness- attempts to apologize only to be rebuked. But suddenly the cats come to an understanding (with eMpaTHy) after Pebble paw loses somecat she cherished (at least as I recall it).

But still the line between consolidation/friendship and amorous relationship was quite discrete and inscrutable, and I still like to believe Pebblepaw would've snatched Duskpaw instead if he lived. (Like Brightheart x Swiftpaw and Squilf x Shrewpaw although I'm sure the latter tom would deserve better than a whiney Squilf).

To get to the point, I dO kind of ship this ship despite its anomalies, but I definitely acknowledge how bizarre it was...

YAY~ another short RANT!! This is why I like requests, because I might receive something captivating that I simultaneously don't have much to offer for so I fly a boon!!
