Turtle Tail's kits

Ok so in one of the last chapters, I blabbered about why I believed the majority of Clear Sky's most ardent supporters were listless brainwashed henchmen and not true followers (because, clearly, if they were, they'd be stupid).

Some of that involved Gray Wing's adopted kits (well only Sparrow Fur). Here, I will be addressing them. Honestly the title should involve Gray Wing in some way; like Turtle Tail's (& "Gray Wing's") kits (RANT) but I figured I shouldn't make it lengthy although I have done those •3• -.-

Ok so the only cat [that I think] appreciated Gray Wing to any extent was Pebble Heart. He was the only cat to chose relocate to the same camp as Gray Wing (aka. Tall Shadow's) when the forest first divided in the 5th book.

^^ but Then I understand that many scenes were left untold as the authors can't focus an entire story on explicitly intimate scenes between individual cats (or else it'd all be rUiNeD as previously mentioned).

He was also the only cat to forgive Gray Wing (well, the only to voice that it was FiNe) *after a few seconds* when Gray Wing unintentionally pushed them away a bit too roughly when he felt like he was suffocating (from his asthma when the feisty kits were crowding around him~ i guess that indicates a youthful needyheedy bond).

He was also the only one to not go chasing after Tom [the second time] when he appeared in the forest with One-Eye (like Sparrow Fur and Owl Eyes). Sparrow Fur was definitely worse than Owl Eyes though (I feel like Owl Eyes only ended up in the forest because he'd followed his TurtleTail-cloned sister).

^^ Owl Eyes wasn't the one who actually traipsed through the territories to reach his father either, only the one to retreat from retrieving his sister after learning the news of his father's deVaSTaTiNG death. We never heard anything from Sparrow Fur. At least he'd shown some remorse and guilt back in camp when Gray Wing was 'nowhere to be found'. Also he'd at least chosen Thunder instead of Clear Sky (even though it was for Gray Wing, who I'm not very sympathetic for).

Turning *veering around the corner* now!! I was just pointing things out for that part though. In no way am I compassionate for Gray Wing (so I can't blame the cats he was a "father figure" to) and in now way would I pass condolences. This is probably be a shock from what I just explored (especially since everyone [in the fandom] just relentlessly adores Gray Wing).

^^Except I personally AM distasteful of him (wOw watch me unreasonably draw out twisted (and not even legitimate) malice from the cats I despise for little reason to highlight a poor claim). I definitely loathe Clear Sky MORE though. But still that doesn't make Sky's brother any better in my eyes; only BETTER than him. I'm legit only comparing them because they're brothers with some history.

Everyone seems to think Gray Wing was the most selfless thing in the world of warriors, doing everything bright and right while asking for (and getting) nothing in return. But I think that quite a lot of the good Gray Wing does was not actually that purrfect (especially his fatherhood/parenting).

Those instances of him concocting plans of combat seemed too unreal and obtrusive or scripted (like Gray Wing is the author of the own series he's in). I'm not sure how to put it into words, but his whole act of drawing out the two slain cats that were victims of Sky's wrath and directing One-Eye's gaze into the blinding sun sounded uncalled for. (Like a solo juicy worm in an apple its juicier than or one spike out of line in a comb- not me providing analogies because I'm short of an answer).
