However, now that the past is over and the present is present, I can now leave wHaTeVeR nOTeS i wAnT as time goes on but tHe pAsT iS LeFT beHiNd aNd tHe baLaNcE iS tHRoWn oFF

Dude II dislike the whole "teLLinG sUnBeAm tO bE qUieT" more than the whole showing off and proving. I feel bad for her fAiLuRe, as she missed her own chance due to a spur of the moment and lack of time, and never will have another eXaCTLy tHe sAmE opportunity to prove herself internally. That doesn't mean she needed to act reckless in dAiLy LiFe, but I'd leave that for her to figure out herself.. This is just more aPpReNTiCe dRaMa (well young warrior) that the Erins want.

The tree thing was a cool trick, but cats like Hawkwing have been previously injured. I mean IG Lightleap didn't ASK Sunbeam to save her, but she should at least be grateful she didn't take on the injury. I can also understand why she didn't want to get in trouble (but since she kNoWs she can get in trouble, she might as well NOT GO LOOKING FOR IT). However, it felt wrong that she was shutting up her friend, especially since she was *kinda* responsible for the damage and her friend saved her. Like Sunbeam said, she could've at least felt remorseful or thankful. TBH IRL I'm not that good at showing my face when I feel guilty, so IDK what I expect as a hypocrite.

I thought Sunbeam would rat Lightleap out to explain her own injury. However, in her tHoUGhTs the problem clearly was that she wanted to geT LiGhTLeAp heLp. Due to my belief, I don't think that taLKinG aBoUT iT or iNFoRMinG oTHeRs and hAvinG tHeM iN uR LiFe. Also, I recall thinking to myself "cMoN sUnBeAm COMEON cLaRiFy to Shadowsight" that you don't want him passing it on because Lightleap wants to avoid trouble. I too thought that Shadowsight would be smart enough to get the memo and not pass it on for both young warriors, but maybe he had different intentions in mind (such as aSsiSTaNcE), but I would've been smarter to force a promise and insist...

Lastly, I feel like Lightleap has an interesting take on friendship. I get tending to a friend's wishes (ok but I'm selfish so I wouldn't EMBARRASS myself for dat) and backing them up, but not geTTinG tHeM heLp beHiNd tHeiR bAcK (OR EVEN AGAINST THEiR WISHES). Ok that's just me with my whole hATReD for school counselors (cough cough this bOiTcHl who exposed my text messages in 6th grade- II DIDN'T EVEN SAY ANYTHING BAD). II can kinda see where Lightleap gets her anger from.

As more of the ghoster and not the one being ghosted, I can't say I relate to Sunbeam's deBiLiTaTinG concern over losing her friendship with Lightleap. II mean I'd be sad but more pisssed. Sunbeam literally TAILED Lightleap around multiple times (intentionally or accidentally). For one, ur supposed to avoid someone who's ghosting u when they do to make them bored so they don't get entertained from ur sad reactions. Once they get tired of ghosting and miss the old times, they'll return if you're into tHoSe types of reunions. I didn't do a good job of following that in elementary school, but I've known since middle school (jUsT neVeR nEeDeD tO uSe iT). SUNBEAM JUST BEE AMBLING AROUND OK TIME TO FINISH DA NEXT HALF OF DA BOOK-
