So around the end, we learn from a conversation between Juniperclaw and Shadowsight that Juniperclaw did what he did to "end the argument between the clans". Now I know the reason for why Juniperclaw had done what he'd done but IK you can't trust a character's word if you didn't see into their POV/thoughts because they could modify their words to make them seem like less of a villain. I don't know if Juniperclaw had given us readers that same information through speech in AVOS; if he did tell us this exact thing (in speech and not thoughts because he surely wasn't in POV)) (indicating that Juniperclaw is a consistent liar if he is one, which I don't believe he is), something different, or nothing at all. (Sadly since my memory of exact word-for-word parts in books, I don't get to infer anything with certainty). This lack of memory is what could be taken advantage of IRL to get away with a lie and benefit (and now this character can get away with any possible whitewashing and remain a liked character bY mEh IF AND ONLY IF)

Assuming that what Juniperclaw claimed about their actions WAS TRUE (and not altered in any way from his true ulterior motives or what he'd originally said in the past), tHeN we can assume that his reasons were VERY similar (in category) to Quick Water's. We know that it implies ridding Skyclan of numbers and driving them away, but that had been EXACTLY what Quick Water had been aiming for with Shadowclan.

After all, it was Skyclan (one cat) against Shadowclan in the drama with the ancient cats, so it'd only make sense that it would become Shadowclan (one cat) against Skyclan. (It's true that one cat doesn't represent their entire clan and an entire clan doesn't tie that closely to one cat either though. Luckily no cat died from Juniperclaw when Shadowstar's last life was literally bled at the paws of Quick Water.) So in the end, I still think that the fates for the two should've been more similar if not better for Juniperclaw (not the other way around: better for Quick Water). Wanting to end the dispute over land and clan acceptance was like wanting to ensure Skyclan's place beside the fourtrees back in the early day.

Anyways I'll believe that Juniperclaw will stay genuine like their words (BETTER BE) and not end up plotting against Starclan like Ashfur and letting cats from the Dark Forest through. The Erins already did that with Ashfur, so why would they do that with Juniperclaw?!?!

+Ps. I found it HILARIOUS that Silverstream & Feathertail emitted jealousy even after acting all caring and considerate of their other cat's heart. I guess they weren't that perfect (or "maTuRe" if you will) after all (at least in thoughts if not in actions). Feathertail seemed all fine with Leafpool becoming Crowfeather's mate when the shecats talked in their dreams. Silverstream didn't want Graystripe to experience a further heartbreak from Millie's passing away after her own. (Ps. I cringed SOOOO HARD and wretched when Leafpool huskily confessed/mewled that "aFTeR aLL tHis tiMe, i neVeR sToPPeD LoVinG yOu") even after all those struggles aFTeR aLL THAT tiMe. I know we all found the progression of Leafpool and Crowfeather's relationship AND BEGINNING TO LIKE EACH OTHER veRy uNeXpLaiNeD aNd sToOpid BYE LEAFPOOL, HI YELLOWFANG AND EVERYONE ELSE!! RAGGEDPELT MIGHT'VE BEEN RUDE BUT WE'D SURE SEEN MORE TO THEIR RELATIONSHIP -

(Also, *about the time Rootspring suggested reconsidering cats ending up in either Starclan or the Dark Forest* did Onestar REALLY need to cut off the conversation because it was "iRReLeVaNT" since Snowtuft was already gone?!?!?!? Rootspring was trying to MAKE A POINT and Onestar had to try to divert the conversation to something else simply because Rootspring's piece of evidence vanished off the face of the cat world. 1) After what Snowtuft did + how little we knew, SNOWTUFT WAS CLEARLY NOT IRRELEVANT ALTHOUGH HE MIGHT'VE BEEN TOO MUCH OF A SNOWY CHICKEN TO TELL ROOTSPRING THE DEPTH OF WHAT HE'D DONE, 2) eXcUsE mE, sTaY oN tOpiC aNd LeT tHe heRo gRieVinG rOoTsPRinG fiNiSh, sNoWTuFT deCiDeD tO sAvE rOoTsPRinG tOo aNd nOt jUsT hiMseLf LiKe siLVeRhAwK even if he had a moment of being puppetbullied into fighting)
