Kaden had traveled past the broken peaks as the Shopkeeper had told him. The man had quickly come upon the valley where he said the girl was, stopping atop a cliff and scanning the landscape below. He would see nothing of any significance or indication. He only saw the 2 Peaks.
He began to go down a slope that lead into the valley. The Dragon Knight kept searching for any sign of where she had gone, alas there was nothing. She could be hiding anywhere in this valley, he thought. He would pull out the green jewel he had received from the Shopkeeper.
"I will need this to see, hm?"
Kaden wondered. He held it up to his eye and gazed through it. At first, he would see no differences. Not until he looked towards the 2 peaks, that's when he saw it. The Tower. He was sure that was where she was. A place well hidden from the naked eye. She had to be there. He whipped the horses reigns and off they rode toward the peaks.
It would not take long to arrive at the base of the peaks. He slowed his horse to a walk and prepared himself. Slowly, he lead the horse into the peaks. They would walk through the spells wall, feeling as if they had emerged from water. Ahead of the Dragon Knight stood the Tower surrounded by many beautiful flowers.
Kaden dismounted from his horse and walked along the path leading to the Tower. Glancing around, he looked for any signs of Skylana. The only things he saw were flowers. She must be inside, he thought. Certainly wasn't looking forward to searching the entire Tower.
The man would reach the doors for only them to open before he could even knock. How foreboding. Kaden entered the Tower and found himself in a long and barren corridor. He walked through, the only sounds were his own footsteps. It was rather ominous.
A doorway lay ahead of him into another corridor. He would pass through said doorway only to find himself in the beautiful garden. This greatly confused the Dragon Knight. He should have entered the corridor, not a garden. Must be more works of magic, he thought.
He would hear a whiney off to the side. Turning his head, he would see a familiar black mare trotting up to him. Ava approached Kaden and snorted, tapping her hoof into the dirt. He grinned to himself and pet the mare on the head. If this horse was here and calm, her rider was here as well.
"Where is Skylana?" He asks.
The horse snorted and turned around, trotting off to another area of the garden. The Dragon Knight followed after Ava past many beautiful hedges and topiaries. Finally, now he could speak to her about removing the dragon.
He followed the mare to a small hill littered with more beautiful flowers, a tree atop it. Sitting beneath the tree would be Skylana, looking down at her journal and most likely drawing once more. Ava would cautiously step toward her rider, trying not to crush the flowers beneath her hooves.
Kaden walked up the hill toward the young girl. He quickly took notice that she now wore dark red armor made from a Fire Dragon, along with her Chaos Dragon skin cape and necklace.
"Didn't think you would run to a place like this." He said.
Skylana gasped and looked up from her book, her eyes wide with fear. The girl slowly stood from her seat, putting the journal away while keeping her eyes on him.
"How did you find me here..?" She asks.
"With this."
He showed her the green jewel from the Shopkeeper.
"I am not angry, Skylana. Nor do I want to fight you. I just want to talk."
She would ease her guard.
