|Skylana|
The Earth Wurmling laid on its back as I scratched its large belly. It acted much like Sogo whenever he craved attention, it was absolutely precious. Its chest rumbled with happiness and readjusted itself to be more comfortable. I only smiled and looked to the dragons beautiful emerald green eyes, seeing trust within them.
"Skylana..?" A voice said.
Turning my head, I would see my father approaching us from behind. I was not angered with him, not anymore. It was he and Kaden who destroyed Father's corpse and forcing Terrorblade to leave the corporeal form.
"Yes?"
He sighed heavily and said not a word, instead pulling me into a tight embrace. I was caught by surprise. My father hadn't hugged me in such a way since I was much younger. I hesitated for a moment, but I would return the embrace with a smile.
"I am so sorry I never listened to you before..."
My eyes widened, tears filling them.
"You believe me now..?" I ask.
"I believe you about the Demon, how evil Father truly was, everything...although, the good in dragons remains to be seen."
I pulled back and raised a brow, glancing to the Earth wurmling. My father caught my eye and looked toward the Dragon.
"Alright, you somehow calmed this one. And the Wyvern inside I don't understand just yet. It's the others I don't trust."
I do suppose that is fair. My father has slain all the 8 species along with Kaden, the ones he loathed the most were Void and Chaos. As I have met Vahdrak in the Thunder Realm, I can easily say without remorse that he is insane and unpredictable. But Byssrak I was unsure of.
"I understand, Father. Chaos certainly isn't a species I would trust with all my heart, the Eldwurm is insane."
"Hm..."
"I've met them in the realm of the Thunder, they're all so different and unique..."
I went on to explain what each one looked like in great detail. For once in my life, my father was listening. The explanation of each of their personalities certainly interested him. Lirraks calm and flowing patience, Indraks stern yet curious demeanor, Aetheraks neutral nature, Aurraks love and hopeful aura, Byssraks untrustfulness, and Vahdraks insanity.
"By the Gods..." My father said.
"Yes, I know it is a mouthful. But it's true. I still wish to know if what Father said was true about Aurrak always being a part of my bloodline."
"It is true, little one." A voice stated.
We turn our heads to see Auroth walking over to us.
"How do you know?" I ask.
"I can smell it, as well as both her and Slyraks blood within your body."
"Dragons truly are incredible..."
The Wyvern lowered her head to us.
"You both have questions, I shall be happy to answer them."
Auroth gestured for us to follow her inside, and so we did. The Earth Dragon and Ava remained outside the doors as we entered. The Ice Wyvern lead us to one of the many bookshelves, reaching up toward the top and pulling down a relatively thick book. She opened it and skipped several pages before stopping, clearing her throat.
"The Eldwurms stood atop their Peaks in the realm of Thunder, staring down at those below, they watched their own be slaughtered by the blades of man, their hearts filling with hatred and sorrow.
