The sun had fallen and moon had risen. Davion had gone silent toward me, I knew the reason was what he saw me do with the Air Dragon. Fymryn and Mirana would not speak to one another at all the entire journey. Not like that was truly surprising.
My hair had become mostly bright white with red on the ends, my teeth had slowly become sharper and sharper. It worried everyone in our party. But truthfully I felt no different at all. Whatever Slyrak had done during our last transformation to cause these changes, I wondered if the effects would be permanent.
But finally after the span of several days, we would reach the village Coedwig. It was a cute little town and felt rather peaceful. Certainly somewhere I could live were it not for the dark order.
But the Elves...they were nowhere to be seen. Something felt off, very off. Fymryn could feel it. Davion and me could feel it. Even Ava could feel it. I could see it in her eyes.
"I don't like how quiet it is..." I whisper to him.
"Yeah, I don't either..."
Some of the only words he said to me in days. I stayed close to the Dragon Knight and clutched onto his arm, not wanting to let go. Mirana and Marci were not afflicted by the eerie silence whatsoever, must be because they are good friends with the Dark Moon Order...
Suddenly, we were surrounded by several men in dark blue armor wielding spears. Davion quickly readied his blade as I went to unsheathe my own. But Mirana would raise her hand to us, gesturing us to stop.
"No! Calm yourselves, all of you." She ordered.
The men looked toward the woman and lowered their spears, taking a knee and bowing their heads.
"Princess Mirana. Apologies..." one of the men spoke.
Princess?? What else don't I know about her? Mirana dismounted from Sagan and approached the soldiers, holding the box of Lotuses. I strongly disagree with returning them to the Dark Moon Goddess, but this deal may free this village from her army.
"I've come with an offering. Let me see Luna." The Princess ordered.
"Yes Princess."
The soldiers move aside for Mirana. She would walk past them toward a tent, leaving the rest of us here as most soldiers dispersed. I would let go of Davions arm and look to my mare. Ava was looking around at the eerily silent village, stomping her hoof down.
"I know girl, I know..." I whisper.
I gently pet her on the snout. The horse would whiney and nudge my hand. I suppose all that's left to do is wait.

Time passed and Mirana still hadn't come back out. I was starting to worry for her, even if she was a follower of Selemene. I found myself pacing back and forth while we were waiting. I growled to myself and balled my fists.
"This is taking too long..."
"Dont you think you're thinking too much?" Davion asks.
"Davion, you know me well enough. She should have come out of there by now. I'm going in."
Marci shook her head at me before standing up.
"Are you coming with me?" I ask.
She nods. I'm glad I can understand her well enough without the use of words. The mute walked ahead and I would follow, only to feel a hand gently grab my arm. Looking over my shoulder, I saw the Dragon Knight looking back at me.
