Chapter One-

Paint Job

*-*-*-3 years later(senior year)*-*-*-*

“Work it Audrey!” I mentally rolled my eyes, Vincent can be odd sometimes but you can't help but love him.

“Pout! Yes give me more of that sexy look.” Vincent snapped his fingers and his assistant turned the fan on a bit higher to make my hair more wind-blown. In my honest opinion they really need to shut the fan off, I mean I’m in shorts and tank-top. To top it off I live in the mid-west, not the brightest idea if I do say so myself.

Yeah it's still summer but it's somewhere around nine thirty. Marty believes he doesn't need heat in the summer, so the fan and the A.C are on, full blast.

“Marty!” I turned around and looked over my shoulder towards the camera.

“Yes, my dear Audrey?” this time I couldn't help but actually roll my eyes, and of course Vincent caught me doing it. No surprise there.

“When can I leave I’m getting tired and my mom will want me home soon.” Vincent directed me to turn around in circles and I followed directions.

“Vincent what time is it, and how many pictures of Audrey do you have?”

“It is Ten o'clock and we have a ton since we've been here for five hours.” Vincent pointed the camera down and turned to look at Marty with an annoyed look, matching how I felt.

“Fine you're free to leave, be here tomorrow at twelve-thirty we have a busy day ahead of us; you too Vincent.”

I nodded my head and walked over to the changing station.

I took off my tank and shorts and put them on the rack next to the lingerie I had to wear earlier today. I still didn't know for sure why I had to wear that, Marty said it was for a Victoria's Secret scouting or something.

I quickly changed into my skinny jeans and pink hoodie.

“I'm leaving, I'll be back at 12 tomorrow!” I picked up my bag and walked out the door.

“Hey Audrey wait up!” I stopped walking and turned around to see Vanessa behind me, she was also a model and my best friend.

She had dark skin and long curly black hair, she was a year younger than me but she was planning on graduating early.

“Hey Vanessa, I forgot you where still here.” I smiled at her and she laughed.

“You almost always do.” she rolled her eyes at me and we kept walking down the street.

“Are you ready for school Monday?” I put my hands in the pockets of my hoodie and sighed, leaning my head back.

“No! Not at all. How about you.” I looked over to her.

“Well, I am, I’m finally a junior I’m so happy.” she was smiling a big cheesy grin.

“I'm happy for you, but I’m scared to be a senior.”

“You'll be okay I know it.” we stopped walking once we want around to her street.

“I'll see you Monday Vanessa. Bye.” she gave me a quick hug before walking down her street.

I watched her to make sure she got home alright. I started walking down the road that led to my house. I was thinking about what Vanessa asked me about school. Was I really ready to start my last year of high school?

I took my hands out of my pockets and folded them across my chest. I shook the hair out of my eyes still walking.

I sighed deeply still wrapped up in my thoughts. How was I going to juggle modeling and being a senior? Plus I had to look over my little sister Katie.
