The Long Lost Daughter

Ch.9

The next day while at school, Y/n's teacher accepted the note, and Y/n felt relieved. She did not want to be grounded.

Meanwhile Mina was sitting in front of all her members, she couldn't get herself to look up, Nayeon sighed, "Mina, you're lucky we found out now before dispatch comes to blackmail us"

Mina: "I mean I wouldn't necessarily say we're still lucky"

Jihyo: "We are because now that we know, we can put a stop to it, they have you admitting it, now they will need to find all the evidence for it, so that gives us a chance to stop them"

Mina: "So then why am I in trouble?"

Nayeon: "Because you should know better than to admit that kind of secret out loud..In Public"

Mina: "How do you even know they have it?!"

Nayeon got closer to Mina, while everyone else was starting to back away, even Jihyo. A strict Nayeon is a really scary one, and Mina was definitely pushing her buttons.

Nayeon looked at Mina real close, "I know some people, and if you yell at me one for time, you will deal with the consequences, got it?"

Mina nodded, "It's still stupid that you think you can tell me what I can and can't do involving my own daughter"

Nayeon: "Listen here and listen close, you're pushing my last nerve. The reason we set rules was because you started to spiral and you weren't thinking straight. So we all decided and you did too, that we would leave Y/n alone and give her space. But what you did instead was go find her, and you admitted a secret in public. I'm okay with you telling her, but in a private setting and when you're not trying to jump into something quickly."

Mina rolled her eyes, "It should still be what I decide"

Nayeon nodded, "Okay. So when you mess up, it's all on you. Don't come to us for help. Got it?"

Mina watched Nayeon get up and start to walk away, and she didn't want to admit that she was wrong and Nayeon was right. But she had to

Mina: "Wait! Unnie, I'm sorry. You're right"

Nayeon stopped as everyone peeked around the corner, Mina sighed, "I was wrong...you were right"

Nayeon looked back at Mina, "What are you trying to say Myoui"

Mina cringed at the use of her surname, "I need your help to fix this"

Nayeon walked back to Mina and gave her a hug, "You are in so much trouble"

Mina felt relieved that Nayeon forgave her, she didn't care about anything else, "I know"

After school was over, Voyage was now at the company, they were told about their fan meeting that they will be having, and all the girls got excited.

Narae: "Okay girls, it's our first time meeting Quest, we got this"

Daeun: "And let me give you my warning now, you better behave out there. Sowon sunbaemin is always willing to have a word with you girls"

Y/n and Tori backed up a little, they've had a talk with Sowon before, because she is their company older sister, and it was not fun...

Haewon nodded, "Yeah that doesn't apply to me right?"

Narae: "You never do anything"

Haewon: "I play games, paint, and sleep"

Narae: "Exactly my point"

Naomi: "Wait so like we can't play around, that's boring"

Daeun: "That's not what I'm saying, you know what you can and can't do"

Y/n: "Are you gonna be taking pictures? Because you've been taking more pictures of us recently"

Daeun: "It's called memories child"

Y/n: "I have a good memory"

Daeun: "Yeah, but these you can always look back and laugh at some of these. For a genius you're quite the troublemaker"

Naomi: "What does being smart have to do with getting in trouble"

Daeun: "Because she should be smart enough to know there are consequences"

The next week, they were backstage at their meet and greet, Daeun was taking pictures and sending Y/n's photos to Mina, who would look at the photos and smile.

Mina liked looking at all the photos, she felt like she was keeping up with Y/n's life, but it still hurt a little that she's not there for her.

Voyage were now talk to Quest, and little did anybody know, Mina was there in the back, disguised, but there was also a dispatch worker ready to catch any insight on Mina and her daughter.

Nayeon was looking around the dorm looking for Mina, "Mina! Where did you go?"

Chaeyoung walked out of the room, after getting off the phone, "Oh shit Nayeon...uh you scared me"

Nayeon: "Where is your girlfriend?"

Chae: "Uh I don't know"

Nayeon: "Well one, she's grounded and two, I wanted to talk to her about this whole dispatch thing"

Chae: "Did you come to an agreement about this whole Y/n thing?"

Nayeon: "Yeah, Mina would only focus on dispatch, she won't try to talk to Y/n. She won't go see her, and she was just gonna give Y/n space and let everything calm down. We agreed for a month, that should be enough time, but if she wanted to earlier, then 2 maybe"

Chae: "Oh...okay. Have fun"

Nayeon stopped Chaeyoung, "Where is she? You know where she is. I know you do"

Chae: "I don't know"

Nayeon: "Jihyo gave me an idea for dispatch and I wanted to tell her. It involves all of us, but I just wanted her okay. Where is she? If she left the dorm, then okay I guess"

Chae: "Yeah she left, okay bye"

Nayeon: "Where did she go?"

Chaeyoung sighed, "She went to Voyage's fanmeet. She got a ticket"

Nayeon nodded and walked away, later Jihyo and Jeongyeon walked into the living room, and was started looking for the keys"

Tzuyu and Dahyun were confused, Sana was watching Tv, "Whatcha looking for?"

Jeong: "My car keys, Mina was dropped over by our manager, but me and Jihyo are gonna pick her up"

Chaeyoung sat down on the couch, "I never told you...don't kill her"

Jihyo: "We won't, but she still needs a ride"

At the fanmeet, Y/n was singing their song while waiting for the next person in line. Y/n was happy all around, Naomi was speaking in Japanese to Y/n sometimes about how excited they were.

Tori threw a paper, it missed Narae, and hit Daeun, so she just looked back at the album she was signing. "I never did that"

Fan: "Its okay"

Y/n: "Daeun unnie, Tori threw a paper ball at you"

Daeun laughed, "I knew it"

Tori looked over, "Snitch"

Y/n shrugged and they all just laughed as they continued to meet fans. It was one of their happiest moments that day.
