The Long Lost Daughter

Ch.29

Y/n woke up later, it was just in time for dinner. She walked out and all eyes were on here, Tori stormed into the room, shoving Y/n out of the way.

Narae: "Tori!"

Y/n got up and looked at Tori who was frozen at her bed. She just punched the wall, "WHY?!"

Y/n: "Why what?"

Tori: "Why..why are you leaving me? I just got a little sister and she wants to leave already"

Y/n: "I'm not okay Tori...but after my hiatus, maybe I will be"

Tori: "You might stay?"

Y/n: "That's why Daeun is making me go on a hiatus"

Daeun walked in, "You both are in the same boat. Our whole group is kind of there, but you both especially. And Haewon too if I'm being honest. Debuted too young, no childhood. This will be good for her, and Tori if you ever need one too, tell me"

Tori: "I will"

Daeun: "So...now since that is cleared. You're grounded"

Tori: "What?! Why?"

Daeun: "There is a hole in the wall. That should not be there"

Tori shrugged "Okay, I guess that's fair"

Finally a sense of calm washed over, the next day, Voyage went over to Twice's dorm, to which Mina and Daeun did talk, and the other girls were being hugged to death.

Haewon: "Damn...you hug too tight"

Sana: "Sorry"

Nayeon: "We all got you something Y/n, we hear you enjoy legos, and we heard about your hiatus as well. So I'm thinking this might get you through that time"

Y/n: "A 10,000 piece puzzle?"

Jeong: "Better"

Y/n saw a big box wrapped up, so she tore the wrapping paper and was speechless. She had no words and was completely in love, they had been recording her reaction. Y/n then just let out a loud scream because she was so happy.

Daeun was excited to see the smile on her face, they would announce her hiatus the next day, and finish their album. Then Y/n is free for a month.

Y/n was gifted the ultimate millennium falcon Lego set. She was speechless, but overall excited to get started.

Next they had a cake, and it was a big party. It was one of the rare times where Y/n felt happy and was able to be herself.

Mina and Y/n took a bunch of pictures, and Y/n hugged her tight, "Thank you for everything"

Mina: "You're welcome"

Y/n went around and thanked all the Twice members, Nayeon and Momo stopped her, Nayeon fixed her hair a bit, "What happened?"

Momo: "I bet it was Jihyo"

Y/n nodded, "She ruffled my hair, and Naomi wasn't happy because she did my hair today. She really wanted to."

Nayeon laughed and Jeongyeon walked up to them, "So how do you feel Y/n?"

Y/n looked around, "Relaxed.."

Jeongyeon gave her a hug, "Good, we're here"

Sana jumped into the conversation, "Yeah, although it may feel a little different because you don't see us, only Mina. We're here, always here to take care of you."

Y/n nodded and when Nayeon finished with her hair, she gave them all a hug before going back to everyone else. Enjoying the rest of the night.

The next day, Y/n finished recording her parts for their album and her hiatus was announced. Y/n was now at the dorm, listening to music while working on the Lego set. It was a big mess, but she'll clean up later.

Daeun gave her a notebook to where she'll write how she feels at least once a day. Y/n always enjoyed being by herself and this was a day come true. But she looked over and saw the notebook, so she stopped and picked it up.

She grabbed a pencil and started to write

"I guess I disappear off the face of the Earth today. I always pray for the day I get to spend it alone in the dorm. But here's the day...I don't like it.

I'm bored. It's Day 1, and I already miss everyone, but I'll see them later at night. But I want to play Call of Duty with Tori, Minecraft with Haewon. I want to laugh with my members, or I might just have Fomo

It's 3 in the afternoon, so I'll go back to what I was doing and I'll write back later...."

Y/n put the pencil down and tried to get herself in a good mood. She blasted music in the dorm and danced around, she forgot that she was alone, and just danced like no tomorrow.

Finally calming down to continue on the Legos, but after another 3 hours of Legos, she sat up and sighed, "DAMN YOU DAEUN"

She sat back down and picked up the pencil again

"I guess I didn't last long. Daeun unnie, you'll read this anyways, so...I blame you. It's only 6, I barely lasted 3 hours.

I want alone time and when I finally get it, I want to be with people. Have that make sense. I don't like being on a hiatus, I want to do something...except chores. No thank you.

Maybe I like being an idol without the social part of it, but I don't like the idea of being perfect. So that's where I crash again.

I feel fine, I feel okay....just bored.

P.S: Daeun unnie...I don't know how to cook so can you cook and like leave leftovers. Or maybe some money so I can order food"

Y/n took a nap since she was bored and didn't hear her members come home. Daeun saw the journal and read it while laughing, "I guess this hiatus is working"

Narae: "She feel better already?"

Daeun: "She's okay for now. One of these days, it'll hit her like a truck. No. Like a damn bullet train. She won't see it coming"

Y/n slowly woke up, "Unnie?"

Daeun: "Yeah I'm here"

Y/n: "I missed you"

Daeun: "I heard, we missed you too. So Chaeyoung and Mina sunbaenims are off tomorrow and wanted to know if you wanted to spend the day with them. They are going to Jeju"

Y/n perked up, "Can I?!"

Daeun nodded, "Yeah, but don't expect a lot over there. You are on a hiatus and the point is to keep you out of public eyes, but I don't want you rotting away in the dorm."

Y/n jumped up, "So how will stay out of public eyes if I need to take a plane?"

Daeun: "They will pick you up tomorrow, and they will take you to the airport, and their security will make sure you go in first unseen and they will go and gather all the attention."

Y/n: "Okay! Okay yay!"

The next day, Y/n was packed and was excited to hear the knock on the door, seeing Chaeyoung at the door. They hugged each other all excited. Mina was talking to the manager with them and went to the door, "You ready kid?"

Y/n gave Mina a hug, "Yeah! I'm excited."

Mina: "Okay let's go!"

Little does Chaeyoung and Mina know that Y/n has a surpise for them.
