The Long Lost Daughter

Ch.31

Chaeyoung came back to the car and was surprised to see Mina crying and Y/n sitting in the front seat.

Chaeyoung opened the door, "Can you step out Y/n, please"

Y/n got out of the car, with the card and pins for Chaeyoung. While Chaeyoung out the food down, she closed the door before looking at Y/n concerned, "What happened?"

Y/n held up the card and pins, "I have a surprise for you guys, I gave Mina unnie hers, these are for you"

Chaeyoung was shocked, "Me? Why me?"

Y/n: "You're Mina unnie's girlfriend, and you're also a very important person in my life as well"

Chaeyoung hugged Y/n, "I was worried you both had some falling out. But these are so sweet. Get in, I'm gonna switch spots with Mina"

Y/n smiled before getting back into the car and Chaeyoung swapped spots with Mina. Mina just stared at the pins until they arrived at a park.

Mina finally got her crying under control, "Thank you Y/n for this lovely gift"

Chaeyoung nodded as she pulled into the parking spot, "Yeah, they are amazing. You know we love you right?"

Y/n: "I know, that's what makes me not want to leave. I have people that love me and will always support me, but I can't stand being torn down for every little thing. I can't smile because I'm trying to grab attention, but I can't not smile because then I'm a bitch...excuse my language"

Chaeyoung put the car in park and looked back at Y/n, "We get it, we understand that. But with every up and down, you'll always have everyone you love and you'll always have your fans, plus who cares what they think. Do they know you? No. They just have no life and pick and choose who they want to hate on. We know how it feels, but it gets better"

Y/n nodded, "Thanks unnie"

There was brief silence in the car before Chaeyoung nodded, sighed, and got out, "Let's go"

They got down and set up their picnic, taking a bunch of pictures and trying their best to keep a low profile.

It was one of the days that Y/n felt like herself, felt safe, and felt relaxed. It was something she needed, and she didn't even know she needed it.

They talked together, laughed, had some heart to heart, having the best day ever. There was no scene being made, they were left alone and were happy to be there.

They spent 3 hours together, and just had the time of their lives. Y/n ended up getting a call and she answered it, which left Mina and Chaeyoung to talk among themselves.

Mina: "This is the best idea we've ever had"

Chae: "I second that, but I wish it could last longer"

Mina: "Yeah, who do you think she's on the phone with"

Chae: "Her mom...?

...

Y/n: "Unnie! This is the best day ever! Mina unnie and Chaeyoung unnie have made this day the best"

Daeun: "I'm so happy for you! Have you...done it yet?"

Y/n: "Yeah, Mina unnie cried. I thought she was upset first, but she was happy I called her eomma"

Daeun: "That's exciting! Hey sweetie you know I love you, and I want you to be happy. Im glad you got away to relax, it helps freshen your mind"

Y/n: "I know. I love you too, and I want to say I made a decision now"

Daeun: "You haven't been on your hiatus for a whole week yet. You can make your decision in 2 months. I won't accept any answer before that"

Y/n: "Okay...but I want to stay"

Daeun: "I hope you keep that mindset in the end. But we'll always be family"

Y/n: "I know. Oh I gotta go, love you"

Daeun: "Love you too"

Y/n was excited, she was so happy she got to talk to Daeun. She was also happy being with Mina and Chaeyoung, she ran back to them and tackled them both into hugs. They were all laughing, having a good time"

Mina: "Who was on the phone?"

Y/n: "Daeun unnie"

Chae: "That's cool, did she want anything?"

Y/n: "No, only to see how it was so far"

They finally got up and started to put things in the car and made it to the hotel, which was an easy check in. Now resting in the hotel.

Y/n laid down on the bed, "I'm so tired, but I'm having so much fun, I wish we could do this morning often"

Chaeyoung nodded, "We should do more of these, but before we do anything, go shower"

Y/n: "Oh yeah...okay"

Y/n had laid down on the grass and dirt, so Chaeyoung didn't want her on the bed, but it was a little too late for that

Mina laughed a bit, and watched Y/n go into the restroom before hugging Chaeyoung, giving her a kiss, "Look at you"

Chaeyoung was confused, "Look at what?"

Mina gave Chaeyoung a soft smile, "You, you're doing amazing babe"

Chaeyoung paused to think about it, but couldn't wrap her head around what Mina was saying. She looked at her girlfriend who was now softly giggling at her confusion.

Chae: "What am I doing that's amazing"

Mina just laughed, and before she could say anything, the restroom door opened. Y/n came out, "What's going on"

Chaeyoung looked over, "What do you need?"

Y/n grabbed her phone, "Hey at least wait till I'm gone to do something...please I'm too young to be seeing this"

Chaeyoung pointed to the restroom, "Go take a shower, wash you hair too. You had grass and dirt all over you."

Y/n held her hands up and walked back into the restroom. Mina just bursted out laughing before giving Chaeyoung a kiss, who then backed up, "What's so funny?"

Mina calmed down, "You. Look at you, you're being a mom"

Chaeyoung froze, "What?"

Mina sighed, "You make an amazing one too"
