The Long Lost Daughter

Ch.22

Nayeon ran out of her room, "What?! What?! Where's the fire?"

Chaeyoung was grabbing her jacket, "Wherever the fuck Mina went! She's going after the server, he's the one that told dispatch about Y/n being her daughter!"

Nayeon grabbed her jacket and grabbed her shoes, both of them running out of the dorm.

Mina was halfway to the restaurant, when she started to get surrounded, but she was focused on payback. She was only seeing Red.

A car stopped in front of her when she was gonna cross the street. Right across was the restaurant, she already had sight on the server.

Chaeyoung got out of the car and pulled Mina into the backseat, "Stop!"

Mina: "Get the fuck off me! I'm gonna make him pay!"

Nayeon: "No Mina"

As soon as Chaeyoung closed the door, Nayeon took off and they drove away, not even to the dorm. Just far enough that Mina couldn't cause any harm.

Chae: "What the fuck!"

Mina: "Why did you do that. He wanted to reveal my privacy, he was gonna be sent to the hospital. He's gonna think he can get away with this without dealing with the consequences. Well he thought wrong. I'm gonna fucking kill him!"

Nayeon pulled the car over, putting the child lock so that Mina doesn't leave the car. She has never seen Mina so angry at someone. It's scary.

Chae: "No, you won't. You won't do anything! You may not like what happened, and you may not like how it happened. But you Myoui Mina will NOT do anything! What happens when you do something to this guy and the whole world turns against you, what happens when you get called on an assault charge? What will happen to you? What will happen to Y/n? What will happen to your relationship?!"

Mina sat back and took a deep breath, "You're right, let's go home"

Chaeyoung shook her head, "No, we're not going home. You'll just end up back at the restaurant, doing something you'll regret"

Mina looked at Chaeyoung then at Nayeon, then down at her hands, they were balled up in fists, and when she let go she saw she dug her nails a little too far down into her flesh, "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me"

Chae: "Anger, and it's normal. You're angry at the person who gave up your big secret to the biggest asshole company in the world. I would be angry too, I would be furious, but I would also think about the little girl that is now looking up to me as a mom."

Mina could help but let her anger become tears, before laughing a little bit, "You're a mom?"

Chaeyoung hugged Mina and they just relaxed against each other. Nayeon took a deep breath, "Are we good"

Mina sighed, "Yes, we're good"

Nayeon took off but they didn't go back to the dorm, she needed to be sure that Mina was a lot more calmer than way before.

Mina had cried herself to sleep, and Chaeyoung looked at Nayeon through the rear view mirror who smiled at her, "She asleep?"

Chaeyoung sighed and kissed the top of Mina's head, "Yeah, she really did let her emotions take over"

Nayeon nodded, "That she did, I heard Y/n can be the same way"

Chae: "Took the wrong habit, but I'm sure her members can help her get past it. As much I was to send this server to the hospital...I also want to Twice to be successful"

Nayeon: "Me too, I'm sure we can do something that won't put us in a scandal or get us sent to jail. Just gotta find the one thing"

Chae: "We have nothing on him, but let's take Mina home, get the others to watch her, and go to the restaurant. We'll be normal, get the same spot so he can be our server, and see how he acts"
