The Long Lost Daughter

Ch.34

Voyage spent their time getting ready ready for their next comeback, when their scavenger picnic video was released. Y/n nervously watched the comments the night, she was nervous to see how they would react to her coming back from a hiatus.

She called Mina that night, but Mina didn't answer the phone, Jihyo did. "Hey Y/n"

Y/n was confused, "Jihyo sunbaenim?"

Jihyo: "Mina can't really come to the phone right now, she's busy"

Y/n: "Oh, okay thank you."

Jihyo: "She'll get back to you later, I'll tell her you called. Don't worry"

Y/n: "Okay thank you."

Jihyo hung up the phone, and Y/n called Chaeyoung, but she didn't answer the phone, but no one else answered. Tori walked in to see Y/n deep in thought.

Tori: "What's up?"

Y/n: "Mina unnie and Chaeyoung unnie didn't answer"

Tori: "Maybe they're busy"

Y/n: "Yeah, but Jihyo sunbaenim answer Mina unnie's phone, no one answered Chaeyoung unnie's phone."

Tori: "Give it time, anyways why are you calling them?"

Y/n: "I was excited because I wasn't getting hate in the comments, and I was getting a lot of support. So I wanted to tell them how excited I was and about me staying with Voyage...but they never answered."

Tori: "They'll call you back."

The next day, she never recieved a call back from either Mina or Chaeyoung. So she called Dahyun. "Hello Dahyun unnie"

Dahyun: "Little Y/n! What's up"

Y/n laughed a bit, "Can I talk to Mina or Chaeyoung unnies"

Dahyun: "Oh sorry dude, they are a little busy"

Y/n: "Still?"

Dahyun: "Sorry, maybe later. I'll tell them you called"

Y/n: "Okay"

Y/n hung up the phone, going back to practice with her group. Haewon could tell that Y/n was little sad, "What's wrong?"

Y/n: "Nothing unnie, can we continue?"

Haewon: "Sure"

They worked hard for the next 4 hours, they wanted it to be perfect. There were gonna be ups and downs to being an idol. But when Y/n checked her phone after not touching it for hours, she was sad to see Mina or Chaeyoung never called or texted back. But she needed to stay open minded and maybe they have really busy schedules. Not everything is on her time.

She put her phone down, and it time to start working on the new dance, which was taking them another 5 hours to learn. Y/n, "I'm hungry"

Daeun: "Almost, did you eat lunch?"

Tori: "Was lunch even an option?"

Haewon: "Was it?!"

Daeun: "Actually no..we didn't get lunch. Why is that? Fine, 1 more time and then we can call it and we'll get dinner."

They took their time to get the dance perfect for the last time, finally calling it for the day. Y/n saw her phone and was happy seeing all the supportive messages. Twice was sending her messages.

Nayeon: "Congratulations on coming back! Proud of you!"

Momo: "Welcome back Little Myoi!"

Sana: "You are so cute! Love to see you back! You'll do great in the future!"

Tzuyu: "Proud of you. It's hard but I know you'll push through the hard times."
