The Long Lost Daughter

Ch.18

Y/n covered herself with the covers, "I'm asleep"

Daeun sat up on her bed, "Get up. Now Y/n."

Y/n peaked her head out of the covers, and saw Daeun's glare. She knew she shouldn't have pushed especially when Daeun is tired.

Daeun stood up, and carefully pulled the covers off of Y/n so she doesn't accidentally hurt her, now pulling her off the bed, "I told you to get up."

Y/n wasn't looking at Daeun, which had the older member softly sigh, "Okay Y/n, we're doing something a little different. I've never spanked you before or Tori, but you know I have the older members, right?"

Y/n nodded, not liking where this is going. Daeun looked at her carefully, "This is the first time I will, and I hope it is the only time I have to. You're more mature than you let off, and that's okay. I like that you want to continue to be a kid even though we are struggling to be the perfect idols everyone wants us to be. But with your perfect memory, you remember every single rule, and only when you are distracted you sometimes let it slip, which is understandable and that's okay. It's all mistakes we make.

But tonight, it was a matter of, you disregarded what I told you and stayed up 3 more hours playing games online. You and Tori, and I saw a 3rd person, your identities better be kept safe."

Y/n nodded, "It was Mina unnie....she was on our team"

Daeun looked up, "I'm not surprised actually, she loves that game"

Y/n: "But if we just film tomorrow without problems, what is the point of having to go to sleep early today"

Daeun shook her head and slightly chuckled, "I see I am getting Nowhere with you."

Y/n got on the bed, and pretended to go to sleep, Daeun laughed a little, "Oh you are not getting out of this one. You either take it now, or tomorrow morning before we go film"

Y/n sighed and started to whine a little before accepting her punishment now. Daeun pulled Y/n closer to her, "Remember what I said, I want this to be the one and only time I have to do this. As you know I'm not afraid to, but I personally don't want to"

Y/n nodded and let Daeun lead her through her punishment. It was taking a lot in Daeun to remain calm and pretend that Y/n didn't hit her last nerve, but she is the oldest and Y/n needed reassurance and a guide.

But after accepting her punishment, Y/n held onto Daeun as she just slightly cried, also because Daeun was getting up and walking to the corner.

Y/n: "No..No, I'll go to sleep"

Daeun: "Yeah, I hope so. Before we go to bed, I want you to face the corner, and I'm not playing with you Y/n. No kicking the wall, or playing with the lines on the wall. You stand there and think."

Y/n got to the corner and stood there for 10 minutes as she thought about everything. She didn't want to make Daeun more mad.

When she was called out of the corner after 10 minutes, Daeun held her hands, "Hey, are you okay?"

Y/n: "I'm fine unnie"

Daeun nodded, "Let me make one thing clear, you won't get your way by throwing a tantrum, you're lucky I softened up on you, I could've been strict the entire time. But if you pull this again, we will have a longer time to...talk. Do you understand me?

Y/n: "Yes ma'am, I'm sorry"

Daeun smiled, "I know, we're both tired. We want to go to sleep. How about you sleep here with me on my bed."

Y/n: "Did I finish my punishment?"

Daeun shook her head, "No. After lunch with Mina and Chaeyoung sunbaenims, me, you, and Tori are talking and you're both grounded.

Y/n quietly stomped her foot, "I don't want to be grounded"

Daeun rolled her eyes at the attitude, "Well that sucks, doesn't it. If you continue to act up, I'll go talk to Sowon sunbaenim and see if there is a chance she can help me with this attitude you have. Heck I'll go get Jihyo sunbaenim as well. Is that what you want?"

Y/n shook her head, "I'm just tired"

Daeun: "Well you wouldn't have been tired if you went to sleep when I told you. Let's get to bed."

Both of them laid down and fell asleep, this time they slept in the bed for the rest of the night/morning, until 7 in the morning.

They all got up and got ready heading to the company to get ready to start filming for their variety.

Haewon looked over and saw Naomi asleep under the table, then saw Y/n and Tori talking. So she went to Daeun and Narae, "So we are eating lunch after this?"

Narae: "Yeah, Mina and Chaeyoung sunbaenims are taking us out. They want to get to know us as a group, and Mina sunbaenim wants to get to know Y/n a little better"

Haewon: "Okay, so do you think they'll be close?"

Daeun: "I hope so. They are so much alike, and I think they will have a really good bond"

Haewon: "I hope so"

They started to film, heading to a different location, and filming till 1 in the afternoon. They were laughing, making jokes, and enjoying the time they have filming.

When they finished filming, they made it back to the company and Mina and Chaeyoung were there waiting, also talking to some Gfriend members

Mina: "Hey, how was the filming"

Y/n: "Boring, I'm just tired"

Chae: "Long time to film does get you tired, maybe lunch can cheer you up"

Daeun rolled her eyes, "Sowon unnie, can I have a word with you"

Mina: "Long night?"

Tori: "We got in trouble"

Mina: "For staying up till 3?"

Chae: "How do you know Mina?"

Mina: "I was playing games with them"

Chae: "Really? You got them in trouble. Should've seen that coming."

Daeun finished talking to Sowon, and back to the group, "Okay, you ready"

Mina: "Yeah, let's go"

Daeun and Mina walked ahead, Daeun looked back for a quick second seeing all the girls laughing with Chaeyoung, "She takes after you"

Mina: "Really?"

Daeun: "Yeah, but she's got this huge attitude right now"

Mina nodded, "Yup that's definitely me. I had one with Nayeon unnie. She's gonna get past it, but how is the group overall"

Daeun: "Well the kids are okay. It's going good, bumps here and there, but it's going good"

Mina: "The kids?"

Daeun: "We need a day to spend as a group, our bumps are getting very frequent. We need to spend time together"

Mina: "Do it"

Daeun remembered something and pulled out a bracelet, "Y/n got shy, but she made this bracelet for you. She's wearing hers right now. She wanted to give it to you but got really nervous and gave me the mission to do it"

Mina smiled, grabbed the bracelet, seeing black and blue colors with the words, "Eomma" on it. "I love it"
