Kang Xunsu watched Wong Xue Guo and Chen Yibo leaving together, likely to hole in her room and complain to Chen Yibo. Feeling a little lonely that the little princess no longer sought him out to talk, he grabbed L.L to accompany him.

"Accompany me a bit?" Wong Xue Guo asked when they arrived at her apartment.

"Sure." Other than making sure she arrived back to her room without accident, Chen Yibo also expected she would want to talk to him. He was happy that their friendship had deepened to this degree and he was quite proud of himself.

"Can you help me take a full-length photo?" Wong Xue Guo asked.

Using her phone, Chen Yibo took a picture of her smiling sweetly and she sent it to her family group chat. At the same time, she finally announced to her parents that she had succeeded in being an Awakened person.

Wong Xue Guo passed him his refilled water bottle, with the water gotten from her kitchen. Pouring water on a cup was considered semi wastage, as later they would need to wash it for every use.

Picking up Mr Rabbit from her bed, she joined Chen Yibo in the small living room. As he had visited her room many times and knew of Mr Rabbit's existence, she no longer bothered hiding it from him.

Playing with Mr Rabbit's hands, she started the conversation. "What do you think of my ability?"

"It's cute," was Chen Yibo's simultaneous answer. The shadow's actions were truly cute and honest in his eyes.

Fighting off the sappy feeling rising like a tide in her heart, she said, "Cute is not something those bad guys will be afraid of. It's useless."

"Maybe the Lord's ability is light or something connected to it?" Chen Yibo guessed and stared at the twisting shadow from Wong Xue Guo's scolding.

She snorted. "If that's the Lord's ability, I will really think it's a cult group. It will be the more extreme version and Woojin's church could not compare to it."

"Yes. It's also strange why the Lord would stay in the Erigeron, where it's winter all year round." Not only was it winter, but that place was so cold that they could also build an igloo there.

"Could it be that winter isn't really that uncomfortable for an Awakened person? That Lord should be an Awaken person, right?" Wong Xue Guo mused. As winter already ended, she could only get to experience how it feels next year.

"Aunt Suzie had only experienced being listless, tiredness, weaker ability and lower stamina. Just as we are weaker, so does our enemies. She emphasized that each season was equally dangerous to us."

Wong Xue Guo was also worried about that. She was unconscious for six days and she does not know how the outside world was now that Spring had officially arrived. No one had mentioned anything about the zombies, too preoccupied with the gene activation experiment. Not that she was any better either, with her mind occupied with the usefulness of Woojin's ability.

Crocus and Zinnia country have the same season, which means if Crocus showed signs of zombies coming out of their hibernation, so do Zinnia's zombies. Her heart wanted to quickly go to her parents, but her ability was too disappointing to be counted on. Plus, she was not assured to leave when Chen Yibo would be undergoing the awakening process.

Chen Yibo's phone which was resting on the couch vibrated from an incoming video call. After seeing it was Chen Jiang An, Wong Xue Guo's curiosity dropped a notch.

"Oh? Geum's base secured the communication line strong enough for video calls?" She had only known that the communication line was fixed, hence the occasional phone calls between the cousins.
