With Miu already offering her teddy bear, Wong Xue Guo finally agreed.

Placing the brown teddy bear on a chair, she controlled her shadow to embrace it, but no matter how she tried, it could not enter the teddy bear. What her shadow could only do was provide sun shade, or an even worse interpretation, which was her shadow molesting the teddy bear.

After testing it repeatedly and getting no response, Wong Xue Guo placed Mr Rabbit next to the teddy bear. However, her shadow only succeeds in entering Mr Rabbit's body.

Shaking her head, Wong Xue Guo stopped trying. "Perhaps I will need to test other toys. Thank you for lending me your bear, Miu."

Miu was a little captivated seeing Mr Rabbit moving from Wong Xue Guo's control. "It's no problem. Do you mind if I had a look at your rabbit?"

"Not at all. Perhaps you could offer some guidance regarding my ability if you spot anything?"

"I will have a look." Even if Miu said that she does not think she has anything useful to say.

Activating her ability once her hand touched the rabbit, she searched for what the rabbit had experienced. With a glimpse, she saw Wong Xue Guo, her room, and the people that always stayed at the young miss' side. As she could never see the past and future of a living being, it was her first time to feel Mr Rabbit's movement with Wong Xue Guo controlling it.

Miu was not sure when Wong Xue Guo first attempted her ability on Mr Rabbit and thus had no time frame to base it on. So she just pinpointed her ability to locate to the first moment the rabbit was exposed to ability and was caught off guard when she saw an unfamiliar boy with a badly bitten wound on his back.

Not understanding what was going on, she did not stop her ability as this was still the rabbit's memories. They were in a toy store, with the boy sprawled on the floor and his hand was stretched forward tremblingly to clutch onto the rabbit's hand that was a distance away.

"I want to go home... mommy... I don't want to be here." The boy sobbed pitifully. "It hurts..."

Miu watched in dawning realization as the boy's black hair started to have some white strands. In the middle of his pleading, the boy suddenly jerked fiercely and then stopped moving with wide, unfocused eyes. If his chest was not rising up and down, he would resemble a dead body.

Suddenly experiencing the same feeling as Mr Rabbit being possessed by Wong Xue Guo's consciousness, Miu knew the boy's ability must have allowed his consciousness to enter the rabbit. She waited for the boy inside the rabbit to move, but the boy was feeling comforted not having to feel the pain anymore to even realize he could not control the rabbit's body.

From the rabbit's eyes, Miu was the first to spot a lone zombie staggering into the toy shop and head straight to the boy's body that was not hiding from view. The zombie could sense the boy was still alive and immediately went to eat its prey.

Even if it was just a memory, Miu unconsciously yelled in her mind for the boy to move. She had completely expected the boy would be terrified and immediately return to his body to run, but the silly boy watched stupidly how his body was chewed apart, as he wonder why he does not feel pain.

It was not a good experience to see your own body being eaten alive.

From the rabbit's memories, the boy was not panicked at all even after realizing he was not feeling the pain like how he logically should. But Miu could feel the boy's consciousness was disappearing little by little as more of his flesh was eaten by the zombie.

When the zombie finally ate the boy's beating heart, the rabbit's soft body jerked fiercely and then the boy's consciousness went dim.

The rabbit and the boy's state remained the same for a long time until Charles Wong appeared and took it away.

"Miu? Are you alright? You look... shaken," Nana asked in concern after Miu stopped her ability.

"I... just saw something unexpected." Miu gulped shakily and glanced down at Mr Rabbit in her hands. She was not sure how Mr Rabbit looked at that time, but it must be clean for Charles Wong to pick it up for his daughter's gift. Wong Xue Guo had also taken care of it well.

Once she grasped that sensation, Miu quickly checked if the boy was still in the rabbit's body until now. She had not noticed the barely noticeable remains of the boy's consciousness when she viewed the rabbit's memories earlier, so she had not noticed if that boy was still in there or not.

To her dreadful confirmation, she could not see the future of the rabbit plushie, which should not happen. Her ability could see the past and future of non-living objects and the plushie was considered one.

Unless it was no longer a 'non-living' being.

The horrified look on Miu's thin face worried Wong Xue Guo, along with what Miu had said next.

'There might be a soul inside this rabbit doll.'

And that might be the reason why Wong Xue Guo's shadow was able to enter the doll.

Chen Yibo had fallen unconscious after taking a booster shot and it was only after five hours that there were some changes in him.

Noisy.

With a slight frown, Chen Yibo gradually regained consciousness. From the amount of noise, there were around five people around him.

Opening his bleary eyes, he stared at the bright lightbulb on the ceiling, before turning his head to look at the others. His entire body froze when he found that he was the only one in the small room.

"He's awake!"

"Finally... five hours... what..."

For a long while, Chen Yibo wondered if there were ghosts in the room with him. In his entire eighteen years in this world, he had never encountered strange, unexplained events, until these few months.

But those events could still be explained scientifically... somewhat.

The door opened and two people came in. He was familiar with them, as they were in his elder brother's team and had worked with them before.

Jang Ryewook helped Chen Yibo when he tried to sit up. "Yibo! You are out for a total of five hours! Your elder brother is rushing over as soon as he knows you are awake."

Only until he moved did Chen Yibo feel the extreme fatigue from the core that even hours of exercising could not achieve. Lightly gasping, he leaned his back on the bed frame for support. He testingly moved his fingers, which took more effort than usual.

Kwon Seungri handed him a steamed sweet potato wrapped in an aluminium foil. "Here, something to pad your stomach until your set meal arrives."

"Thank you," Chen Yibo's voice was weak as he mustered enough strength to form a smile at Seungri.

["Finally got rid of this potato. I got another reason to talk to her."]

Chen Yibo's smile died off. He was looking at Seungri when he heard his voice but Seungri had not opened his mouth at all.
