(A/N) I noticed in the last chapter I accidentally used the name BloodClan instead of BurningClan. I spent ages deciding between the two so I guess I confused them. Oops XD

In the armory, I take a good look around. I already have a knife in my belt, but I'm going to need better than that.

On one wall of the large square room is an assortment of daggers that snatches my attention. I take a second belt and sheathe four basic daggers in it. Then, I find four sheaths to wrap around my legs, which is pretty convenient. In these I put two daggers with hooked tips and two that are slightly longer than the rest. Finally, I wrap another sheath and small knife around my arm near my shoulder.

I'm about to move on when I see some rope. I take this and attach it to my belt in case we end up in the woods. Better safe than sorry.

Outside of the armory, Sparrowheart's waiting, already armed. He chose mostly knives, but also a black sword.

"I found these and figured you'd like them," he says, holding up a pair of glorious combat boots. They have sharp toes... Made from metal.

They're perfect. I manage to squeak a thank you before I hurriedly put them on. They're a little heavy, which might cause me to move a bit more slowly. Then again, imagine how damage much a really good kick would do!

Nicholas comes out of the room with six knives. Dawnflame went with a crossbow and dagger like she often did when battles were more frequent, and Blueflight has a spear with long blades on both ends.

"Okay, so what's the plan?" Blueflight asks.

Dawnflame is slightly flustered. "There's supposed to be a plan?"

"I think Dawn has a point," Nicholas says. "Winging it usually has good results."

"Says the one with the bandaged arm," I point out.

He frowns. "True. But I'm alive, aren't I? Let's do this: If Scarletstar shows up, Dawn and Blue will attack first. If they have to let her through, they'll have you and your partner to fall back on. What is your name, anyway?"

"Sparrowheart," my partner says.

Nicholas nods. "Gotcha. Last, if Scarletstar does get to pass you four, I'll be behind you. Consider me Plan C."

"You're not in very good condition, Plan C," I say. "So let's hope we don't let her get that far."

"Well it sounds like we have a decent plan," Blueflight says. "Let's put it into action."

We sprint back to the hospital room and get prepared, standing in our proper positions. Then, we wait.

And wait.

And wait.

Half an hour passes without any invaders. Dawnflame is first to get bored.

"Why hasn't anything happened yet?" she says, pulling up a chair.

The rest of us take that as permission to do the same. "Who knows," Delia says from her spot in the corner of the room. "All I wanna know is what's my purpose here?"

Sparrowheart kicks a knife across the floor to her. "If we get injured, you guard Lisa while she treats us."

She hesitates before nodding and picking up the knife. Lisa, on the other hand, has been startled out of her silence.

"But I can't do that! The most I've done is put bandages on papercuts!"

Sparrowheart doesn't look at her. "Just do the best you can."
