(A/N): Haha, forgot I had that 40 minute class period of doing nothing, so I'm updating now.
Anyways, I'm back, everyone! Sorry for the really long wait. I was incredibly stuck, and it took me about four weeks just to figure out where to start! I'm not sure how I'm going to end this book, never mind where I'm ending it. It could be three chapters, it could be six, I don't know. All I can say is, thanks a million to those who have stuck by me throughout this story. I'm glad to see there are people who like my writing enough to continue reading it. You guys are amazing! (っ'▽')っ
So now, have this longer-than-usual chapter! Chapter 19!

I take a deep breath and walk back to the others at the couch, letting the door swing shut behind me. Scarletbreeze is already there, watching shyly as the others fight over what to do next. I can tell she finds it amusing by the small smile on her face.

"Okay," Nicholas says, raising his voice. "Let's just let Scarletbreeze decide."

All eyes are on her as she recovers from her surprise at being recognized and begins to think. Her eyes are flitting around the room, as though trying to get an idea from something she sees.

"Um..." she says softly. Then, her eyes light up. "How about we play a game?"

The girls shout "No!" while the boys laugh evilly. The shy girl looks confused and slightly startled by their outburst. "W-why not?"

Delia grabs her by her shoulders. "Because games with the boys are insane."

"No, no, Delia," Dustfire intrudes, pulling her away. "A simple game of Truth or Dare couldn't hurt... After all, it's a great way for Scarletbreeze to get to know us, right?"

Blueflight snatches the back of my brother's shirt and throws him back on the couch. "No. A safer game would be Two Truths and A Lie. That way she doesn't get into anything too bad, am I right?"

The rest of us girls nod frantically, clearly voting for the less dangerous game. After all, last time we played Truth or Dare, Blueflight ended up with ice in her socks.

An hour later, we knew considerably more about Scarletbreeze, but not serious things about her past; things like her favorite color is yellow, her real name is Ella, and she's actually no more than a month older than me.

"Wait wait wait," Nicholas barely manages to say, clutching his sides from laughing so hard. "You mean to tell me that you ran straight into a tree during your warrior test?"

Scarletbreeze is having the same problem he is. "Yes! I thought they'd stop the test for that, but my mentor, Emeraldglow, just continued like nothing had happened! I don't know how she stayed so serious, and I never thought to ask!"

The rest of us are watching the two try to stop their fits of giggling, and Dawnflame leans over to whisper in my ear.

"Isn't Emeraldglow with us now?" she asks. "How come she hasn't come to see Scarletbreeze? News does travel fast around here."

I have to dwell on it for a second, because I realize I've only met Emeraldglow once before she left a few months ago. "I think she went to Florida to talk to some clans there about making trade deals or something. She might be back within the next week or so, now that I think about it."

She nods, returning her attention back to the scene in front of us. I'm surprised to see Nicholas with a hand on Scarletbreeze's shoulder. It's funny, really; just hours ago, he was angry to see her by our side. Now, he's laughing with her like he's known her for so much longer. In spite of myself, I start laughing. It starts as a soft giggle, but the more I think about it, the harder I laugh. I realize too late that everyone else was quiet.
