Leni spent a rare day off with her daughters with work already done.
She was just going through social media and saw that Risa posted a series of instagram stories.
The senator also had a day off and was spending time with her kids. There were selfies of them eating and happiness was clear in their faces.
She smiled and pressed the heart button.
And closed her phone before going to the kitchen to make coffee.
A few minutes later her phone began ringing.
She answered without checking who the caller was because she was pouring hot water into her cup.
"Hello?" She said while pouring the hot water.
"VP, good afternoon" Risa said with her happy tone.
"Ris?" Leni took the phone and checked the name
"Yes po" Risa replied. "Are you working?"
"No. Nag rerelax lang sa bahay kasama si Rocco"
"Want to have dinner together?" Risa asked
"If you want you can come here? Sayang kase may niluto na ako kanina" Leni said
"Okay, I'll be there asap"
"Okay see you later"

Risa arrived soon after and knocked on the door.
"Pasok ka" Leni invited her in
"May space pa ba sa freezer? Bumili ako ng ice cream" Risa said making her way to the kitchen not even waiting for Lenj
"Meron pa paki lagay nalang" Leni said and went back to cooking, or in this case heating.
Risa put the ice cream in the freezer and leaned against the countertop looking at what Leni was cooking.
"Smells good" she commented. Leni smiled and nodded.
"Hintay ka nalang doon sa dining, baka mabaho pa ang mga damit mo dito" she said.
Risa followed Leni's request and sat in the dining area. She allowed herself to stare at Leni and take a fee stolen pictures of the Vice President. It was cute seeing her doing simple things add to that Rocco always following his lola.
After a while Risa got bored and sighed.
"Ang ingay mo naman" Risa commented
"Ha? Nababaliw ka na ba?" Leni looked at her weirdly
"Napaka silent mo kase dyan. Can I put on some music?" Risa asked
"Sure"
Risa then put some music on and sang along entertaining Leni and Rocco. When ballad songs were playing she would exaggerate her emotional singing and when upbeat songs were playing she would dance weirdly while sitting.
After a few minutes Leni felt Risa's eyes on her.
"What?" She asked
Risa was looking at her intently
"Lens"
"Yes?"
"Di pa ba ready?"
Leni burst laughing.
Risa pouted and crossed her arms on the table resting her head on her arms.
"Gutom na ako VP" Risa complained
"Opo ma'am senator patapos na po"
"Can you set the table please?" Leni asked when she was done
"Copy that Ma'am" Risa faked a salute and set their table
