Chapter 36

Risa was waiting patiently. 30 minutes. 20 minutes. 10 minutes. 5 minutes. 1 minute. Seconds till the start.

Risa was ready with her computer. Her alarm signalling her it was finally time.

She immediately went to the page and there she was.
She sighed contently, finally she could see the person who made heart beat incredibly fast. She smiled and took out her phone immediately taking pictures of her computer screen.

"Maria Leonor bakit ang cute mo lagi" she said

She took a few more picture and listened to her girlfriend talk to her viewers.

Girlfriend. It was still so surreal to her sometimes

Leni showed everyone the new Angat Buhay HQ and her office then she read her supporters comments.

She sighed. She also wanted to comment and write things too but she couldn't. It has been a few days since the last time they saw each other in person but even by just seeing her on her screen she vividly remembers how soft Leni's skin was or how she smelled.

She was jealous of everyone that could just comment something and Leni could just read it.

Suddenly she saw Leni focusing on something and smiled a little.

"Senator Risa Hontiveros is watching" Leni said and smiled at the camera

Oh. Shit. Risa forgot that Leni would be notified if a friend would watch her live. So much for being subtle and lurk into her girlfriend's live. 🤦🏻‍♀️

"Diba may forum ka ngayon Sen? Bat ka watching?" Leni asked playfully.

Risa didn't know how to react, was this going to be okay?

After that Leni kept reading other comments until the end of the live.

As soon as it ended Leni facetimed her

"Hello?"

"Hi" Risa said. Not knowing if Leni would scold her or something

"Oh, bakit parang napagalitan ka?" Leni asked

"Hindi ka ba galit?" She asked

Leni look at her weirdly

"Bakit naman ako magagalit?"

"We agreed na we would keep this for ourselves for now, and maybe that was a little too risky?"

Leni smiled at her. Risa really looked like a puppy who was getting scolded.

"What? You lurking into my live?"

"Yes" Risa said

Leni laughed.

"Hay nako senator. Hindi ako galit. In fact I'm grateful knowing na you're busy and still spent some of your time for me" she said

Risa exhaled in relief.

"Don't you think mapapansin ng iba?"

"I don't think so. Alam naman ng mga tao na close tayo and we're friends kaya hindi naman sila magtataka" she explained

Risa nodded "Pero mga shippers natin kikilig na naman mga yon dahil na shoutout ako" she said laughing

"Ayuda nalang natin sakanila" Leni added

"Pero I wanted to comment so bad, buti nalang napigilan ko sarili ko" Risa confessed

Leni looked at her. Their arrangement wasn't really ideal but they knew it was for the best, for now.

"One day we'll be free to say whatever we want on social media"

Risa smiled sadly at her.

"I know. And humanda ka dahil pag dumating na yung time na yon lagi kita i-flex sa social media" she said trying to lighten the mood.
