Chapter 48

Risa was out with her children for a drink that she badly needed after all the stress the government has put her through.
She is a good drinker but she forgot her children had a higher tolerance thanks to their young age.
The extra drinks she ordered were definitely going to give her hell the next day

After a few drinks and as soon as they arrived at their hotel Risa immediately texted Leni knowing the attorney would want to know that she got there safe and sound.

We're back at the hotel.

Risa woke up the next morning with a headache.
She definitely regrets those extra drinks.

She tried to do her things but her head was still killing her.

After a quick shower she opted to stay in bed since her kids haven't called her yet.

She didn't know when but she woke up again at the sound of someone knocking on her door.

She got up with difficulty and made her way to the door.

When she opened it one of the hotel's staff was there holding a tray.

"Good morning ma'am. This was asked to be delivered to your room"

Risa raised an eyebrow

"Who sent it?" Risa asked

"The breakfast was ordered for your room and your kids Ma'am. They also made sure these pills were delivered to you" the staff said

Risa looked at the tray with her breakfast along with a box of hangover pills.

"The name they gave was just Leni" the staff informed

Risa looked up and smiled at her "Thank you"

She then sat down placed the tray on her table. She sighed and shook her head smiling.

"Maria Leonor" she said before taking a few pictures of what was delivered.

She then took the pills to alleviate her headache. It sucks though. She missed her and Leni sure did not make it easy for her with all these sweet gestures.
