Chapter 47

The Robredos were enjoying their time in Turkey.
They were enjoying every moment of their trip, no stress and lots of wonderful views everywhere.

After a whole day of touring and sight seeing Leni was in her and Jillian's room resting.

She was waiting for Risa to facetime her.

*ring ring*

A smile forming as soon as she saw the caller ID

"Hello?"

"Hi" the senator said cheerfully

Leni chuckled "Why are you so happy?"

"Of course I'm happy, I get to talk to you"

Leni rolled her eyes playfully at the senator.

"Kinilig ka ba?" Risa smirked

"Oo" Leni admitted

Risa laughed "Buti naman"

Leni smiled. She loved seeing Risa this cheerful and this happy

"Hay nako senator. Pampaalis ka talaga ng pagod"

Risa smiled at her "napagod ka today?"

"Oo. Pinalakad ako ng mga bata buong araw" she said pouting

"Ano kailangan mo para magka energy ka na naman?"

"Hug" Leni said

Risa smiled and sat up straight. She put her phone against something to make it stand and closed her eyes. "Okay close your eyes" she instructed

"What?" Leni looked at the senator weirdly

"Bilisan mo na" Risa said and waited for Leni to close her eyes.

The attorney sighed and complied "Okay. Naka sara na"

"Now can you put your arms around yourself?" Risa did it too and hugged herself as if Leni was hugging her back.

Leni frowned "seryoso ba?" She asked

"Yes"

Leni sighed and did as she was told.

"Are you doing it?" Risa asked

"Yes"

"Now inhale and exhale"

Leni did it.

"I am hugging you tightly right now. I'm hugging you and pouring all my love for you in this hug" Risa said. If they were in the same country Risa wouldn't think twice and just drive to wherever Leni was, but unfortunately she couldn't do that.

Leni listened carefully and somehow she could feel it. It was as if Risa was really hugging her. Of course it was nothing like a real hug from Risa, but this had to do it for now.

"You sure do find funny ways of making me feel better"

Risa laughed "I'd gladly give you a real hug but I can't right now"

Risa opened her eyes and looked at Leni who had her arms around herself smiling.

"Hay nako attorney, kung pwede lang sana ako lumipad dyan" she said

Leni opened her eyes and untangled her arms. She looked at Risa and smiled warmly at her.

"It's okay. I already feel the warmth, even if we're far from each other"

"Anything else I can do?"

"You are already doing everything I need" Leni said

Risa smiled at Leni. She missed her so much but she was also glad she was having fun and spending time with her daughters.
