Chapter 46

The Robredos finally had a few days for themselves far from all the chaos of their everyday life.

The girls were mainly excited for their mom, finally she could enjoy a few relaxing days and they could have her for themselves.

They landed at night and were on their way to their hotel. Leni was enjoying the view from the car but she couldn't help but think about the person she left back home.

Risa would have made this trip even more perfect. But maybe they could come here together another day.

She admired the scenery and couldn't help but think how Risa would enjoy it. She chuckled thinking how Risa would have for sure already taken lots of pictures and selfies.

Then she remembered the thing she bought just for this trip.

She opened her bag and grabbed the go pro she bought just to document this trip.

She tried to use it but unfortunately her knowledge of these gadgets was limited.

She frowned and bit her lip.

*I am Leni Robredo. I am not scared of anything. You will not bend me* She challenged the object

Of course technology got the best of her.

Leni sighed. *Maybe it's time to admit that my age and technology are not really complementary*

She sighed and turned to Jillian who was seated beside her "Jill, how do you open this?" She asked handing the go pro to her.

"You just need to press this Ma, you can connect it to your phone too if you want to watch the videos" she explained showing Leni which buttons she needed to press.

"Yun lang pala. Thank you" she said and smiled at her daughter.

"Ma bakit mo kase binili yan, mas complicated pa yan pwede mo naman gamitin ang phone mo" Tricia said

"I know pero I can make better videos with this"

Leni wanted to document this trip to share a few moments to the supporters who have been vocal on social media platforms saying how much they missed seeing the Vice President. She actually felt guilty because after the elections she promised to be more active on social media but because of her busy schedule she still didn't have the chance to do so.
That's why she wanted to take this opportunity to please her supporters.

Of course another major reason was Risa. Leni wanted to show Risa the places they were planning on visiting and the food they were going to eat.

"Ma remember to ask muna sa hotel kung pwede ka mag vlog" Aika said

"Yes anak"

Minutes later their driver stopped the car and opened the door for them.

While going towards the entrance of the hotel Leni opened her go pro and tried to shoot their hotel. She got permission of course.

Leni was trying to describe their hotel while walking, but she was having a hard time breathing.

*Kailangan ko na talaga mag exercise ulit.* she thought

Leni was breathless when she made it to her and Jillian's room.

"Jill you want to wash up first?" She asked

"I want to see yung room nina ate muna ma, you go first" Jillian said

"Sige, pero bring with you yung susi" Leni said

Jillian grabbed the keys and made her way to her sisters' room.

Once alone in her room Leni took her phone and looked at the desk for the password of the hotel's wifi. Once she was connected she opened whatsapp.
