A/NLittle surprise at the end.

To say the event was a resounding success was an understatement. It only got bigger from there. The line never ceased and unless they decided to do something illegal and break fire codes to let more people in they had to keep everyone waiting.
"Okay what do I do what do I do." Jennie chanted as she paced backstage. The families were currently up there talking about the kids' surgeries. Jennie had thought Chaeyoung and Jisoo would have been better MC's than her and she was right. Jisoo kept making people laugh while Chaeyoung pulled on their heart strings.
Kim Guyri's little brother was especially effective. He was cute and had a lisp and besides the betting tables to raise money, Jennie had set up a website and someone to take cash donations and pretty much everyone in that room put at least a twenty in there.
The only problem was, there were still people waiting outside, for a long time. Too many people. At this rate they would never get in because no one else was leaving and they were at capacity.
"I should have gotten a bigger venue. I didn't know this many people would come." Jennie said in worry.
"Can't we move it outside too? Like a block party." Lisa asked, not really knowing how this stuff worked.
"I would need permits. The food truck guys could sell outside because they have their own individual ones already but I can't take the alcohol or the game tables out there. I had extras brought so we have plenty but if the cops came everything would be over and my charity would be done for."
"Who gives out those permits?"
"Wait—Lisa you're a genius!" Jennie leaned in to kiss her hard.
Lisa was left reeling. They weren't around anyone right now, they had been in the back of the make shift stage. She also didn't know how she was suddenly a genius.
"Sorry." Jennie said, "got excited." Normally Jennie would have blushed but she was way too focused right now. "Can you help me?"
"What do you need?"
"Start with seeing if Bam could bring their actual food trucks and park them outside. Half of them can stay indoors and the other half outside. Most people in here already ate anyway so they'll probably not get another wave of customers for a couple of hours."
"Okay got it."
"I just need to distract them enough so they don't leave before I set all of this up."
"What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to get those last minute permits and do a block party. Like you said." Jennie grinned. "You told me to do what I do best every time I freak out. I think I can do this. That's the part of this business I know."
Lisa was finding an excited, confident, gummy-smiled Jennie really adorable.
"That's my girl." Lisa slipped out.
Jennie blushed.
"Okay lets do it." Jennie said determined.
Jennie found her aunt who was currently cleaning out the blackjack table with Jessi. Both a little tipsy and giggling and talking shit to the college students they were beating.
"Hey auntie." Jennie asked a little nervously.
"My favorite niece! Here!" Her aunt shoved the massive pile of chips she had won, "for the charity."
Jennie smiled and giggled. "Cash out first and then I might take them."
"Right. I forget these aren't real cash yet."
