Chapter 5.

"I'm here to deliver Jace's order".The receptionist stared back at me confused."Mr Johnson, the big boss".

"Please wait here while I ring him in his office".

This is a huge, nice building and it must be nice being the boss of a huge ass company, lots of perks, obviously, I put the platter on the reception desk and took a step back looking around. All the times I was here were involuntarily so I never got a chance to look around, I wish I didn't have to come here today though but no one else was around, talking about perfect timing. This place brings me back trauma.

I was always bored the hell out of my brains. The last time Adelle had to force me to come and be with 'my' brother the night he was beaten up but lied and said he got robbed, I know he lied, they didn't take anything. That night did not end well.

Jace being Jace pissed me off, obviously, making me wanna leave earlier than I had anticipated for but once again, Adelle intervened, telling me not to give him any of my attention and I did as told. I even slept in his bedroom while he took the couch, that was after a heated argument about who would sleep on the couch. Coming to think of it, I should have just left.

Coming to think of it again, Jace has never liked me, I took a few deep breaths and the building started spinning and the second I turned around facing the receptionist, everything went blank. A few hours later or so it felt, I moved my head up and it was heavy, not from a hangover now that I know how that feels like.

I closed my eyes and put it back on the couch then shot them open again looking up at the ceiling and I just groaned. Not again. I'd have opted for a hospital.

"You're up, good".

"What happened?".

"You fainted".

"I...".

"You need to go the doctor's".

"I'm fine, Jace, I just didn't eat".

"Why didn't you eat then if you knew it would lead to you fainting? Don't you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day?".

I sat up straight on the couch removing the cloth on my forehead and looked up at the kitchen, annoyed, giving him the 'you gonna send me to the grave really early Jace' look and he was just standing there topless staring back at me.

Did I mention topless?. I looked away so fast my head almost came off, it's not like I've never seen him naked but still it's awkward and besides I was drunk then, I don't remember much really, so technically I've never seen him topless.

I looked up at him again, he was still staring at me and still topless I closed my eyes a little too late, so late that I noticed tattoos
on his left limb covering his entire arm to his pact, I swallowed hard at the thought of his bare abs, he works out, a lot, I sat up.

"Babe, why didn't you wake me up?".A woman asked coming out from the bedroom.

Nice, Jace, really nice. You bring me up here with your half naked girlfriend in here?. Right, we only had sex once that doesn't we are now dating.

Jace cleared his throat and looked up at the girl who didn't even see or acknowledge me, of course she didn't, she just threw her arms around Jace's neck tonguing him down, her hands running all over his body, he moved back.

"I didn't want to disturb you".

Right now is the best time to leave, too much going on here. I cleared my throat and pushed the throw away and stood up.

"Okay, I'm gonna go now".

"Stay, you need to eat, you probably fainted because you haven't eaten".She smiled looking at Jace and I couldn't help but roll my eyes to the back of my head."Eggs please".
