"What?".

"We need to go Hazel, now".

Jace pulled out his gun pointing at Zachary whom just chuckled, not even moving, he really doesn't want anyone to get hurt. Jace will shoot him, there's no doubt there and if he does shoot then we're screwed. There's no running away from my father and there's no way Jace is letting us out of here without a fight which will only lead to a disaster.

"She's not going anywhere".

I moved back to Zachary, not just back but close to him too."Let me talk to him, please".

"No, we need to go, now".

"Look, Zachary, you and I both know there's no running away from my father okay? But I need to make sure he doesn't follow us because if he does, people will get hurt and we don't want that".

Zachary glanced at Jace whose gun was still drawn then back at me."Fine but you can't say anything to him".

"I won't, you'll hear everything I'll say to him but just... Give us some space".

Zachary nod walking past Jace with my bag, Jace didn't even look at him, his eyes were on me and so were mine. I can't tell him the truth, if I do that he'll fight, we hate my father.

"Do you love me?".

"What kind of a question is that?".

"Jace?".

"Yes, I love you, you know that, I love you with all my heart".

"And do you trust me?".

"More than anything".

"That's all we need, I'm gonna go now and you won't try to stop us and you won't follow me or try to find me".

Jace now moved his eyes to Zachary then me."What's going on babe? Talk to me, please, tell me".

"I need a break from this, from us, from this marriage and if you say you love me as much as you do, you'll let me go".

He looked down at my wedding ring then up at me then Zachary who was listening in on everything, he then looked back at me. He took a deep breath looking down at my ring then my watch, he took a step forward, so did Zachary, he then walked past me to the table taking my pills, he walked up to Zachary.

"She needs them, twice a day after meal, she hates them, so you'll have to remind her and force her to take them, everytime".

Zachary nod, Jace moved back, Zachary pointed at the elevator, I looked up at Jace, he put his gun back in his belt and I sighed walking away up to Zachary who looks not scary at all. I watched Jace watching us in the elevator, I pressed the floor button and the doors closed, I wanted to cave in but I kept my head help up high. I can't afford to be seen crying not in this building anyway.

If Jace finds out I was crying, he will send out his men after me. The doors opened Siya and Khaya walked towards the the elevator but stopped when they saw me, so did I, Zachary didn't stop or gave me a chance to talk or even stop, I walked past them without making eye contact. They both exchanged looks and we were gone.

I held my chest and I tried, hard to fight back tears but I lost, I just sat there tears rolling down my cheeks, I'm leaving everything behind, everything I know and starting afresh will be hard, starting afresh with my father will be harder. Zachary pulled over again, he got out of the car and stood outside it, letting me cry in peace.

He's not a bad person, he just grew up around bad people, I took a deeper breath followed by another one and one more. I wiped my cheeks and sat back, Zachary got back in, he fixed the rear view mirror so he could see me, I looked up and I was just staring back at me, with puffy eyes and a red nose.
