It's been a week since I saw Josiah with a girl. After that, hindi na ko kinausap ng tungkol don ni Kevin. He didn't asked me anything about that. He respects my privacy. I left Kev there, he got mad pero naging okay rin.

Flashback

"What just happened Denise? Why did you run? Oh why I am I asking this? Yeah we just saw your ex that's why. Oh god! Denise, please stop crying, please stop." He said at lumapit siya saken to wipe my tears. Parang nagpa-panic siya. He hugs me and I cried.

"I don't wanna ask you about what you feel right now. I respect you, I respect your privacy Den. But always remember I'll always be here as a friend to listen at your problems. God! This is so cheesy I hate moments like these." Sabi ni Kevin na nakapag-patawa saken. I was touched about what he's doing and what he said pero matatawa ka talaga sa sinabe niya.

Biruin niyo naman guys. Imagine, Kevin Kram, hottest ang youngest successful bachelor being cheesy. But I thank him a lot kase chini-cheer up niya ko everyday. I found a friend in him. And I'm so lucky.

"Yes Marco, and please cancel all my meetings for tomorrow. I need a break" bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa si Kevin with his secretary Marco.

"Noted Sir. Is that all?" Marco asked. Nasa living room ako watching Adventure Time. It's Friday and I don't have classes today and I'm too bored.

"Yes Marco, thank you." Then Marco nods at Kevin at tumingin siya saken and nods kaya I nod back at him then he leave. Napa-tingin saken si Kevin and lumapit siya. Nasa likod siya ng inuupuan kong sofa.

"Pack some of your clothes. We'll be going to a beach resort tomorrow." Then umakyat na siya sa kwarto niya kahit wala pa kong naisasagot. Beach? Tomorrow? OMG! Beach vibes again. I'm so excited kaya agad akong tumaas sa kwarto ko at naghanap na ng mga swimsuit. Nagdala ako ng damit na good for 3 days para ready haha. Pero wait, kame lang bang dalawa?

Bumaba ako para kumuha ng tubig when I saw Kevin watching TV kaya umupo ako sa tabi niya.

"Yo Keeeev! I have a question..." He looks at me na parang natatawa. Bakit ba parang lagi siyang seryoso at parang hirap na hirap siyang tumawa o ngumiti man lang.

"What?" He asked then suddenly, di ko alam pero I feel shy. Ewan ko ba.

"Uhm, tayong dalawa lang ba bukas? Uh you know sa resort? Walang-" Napatigil ako kase humalakhak siya. Kahit paghalakhak ng lalakeng to may poise ano ba naman to.

"I have two friends coming. You can invite yours Denise." He said habang natatawa parin. Ano bang nakakatawa sa tanong ko kanina? Tumango ako at nag-pout dahil tinatawanan niya parin ako. Napaka-seryoso nito sa buhay pero napaka-lakas mangasar.

"Ilang days tayo don?" Tanong ko. Binaba niya muna ang cellphone niya at tsaka tumingin sa TV sabay sagot saken.

"Two to three days." I nod at kinuha na ang phone ko at tinext na si Aly.

To: Aly
Hey Aly. Are you free tomorrow?

Tinignan ko ang pinapanuod ni Kevin at napatawa ako. Dahil sa pagtawa ko napatingin saken si Kevin with a confused look. I can't stop laughing! Seriously.

"What is wrong with you Denise?" He asked na parang natatawa na din.

"Seriously Kev? You're still watching Spongebob Squarepants?" I laugh so hard. Feeling ko namumula na ko sa sobrang kakatawa. Kumunot yung noo niya at tumingin sa tv tsaka tumingin ulit saken.

"Then? What is wrong with spongebob? He's funny..." He answered. Aba naa-appreciate niya talaga si spongebob.

"Latest news! Youngest and hottest bachelor Kevin Kram loves Spongebob Squarepants! Perf- HAHAHAHA" i just can't stop laughing . Tinignan ako ng masama ni Kevin.

"You are impossible Denise. Stop teasing me." Pinigilan ko ang pagtawa ko hanggang sa nagbeep na ang phone ko and it was a text message from Aly.

Yeeep. Why? Yayain mo ko mag-date? Ano ba naman yan ikaw Denise ha nato-tomboy ka na pala HAHAHA jk.

Napailing ako sa reply ni Aly. I remember Ashley at her. Ganito din si Ash, kahit sa text napaka-kulit.

To: Aly
No wag ka ngang feeling! I'll just ask if you wanna come with us bukas sa isang beach resort. I don't know where but Kevin knows. So ano? Sama ka?

Napansin kong iba na ang pinapanuod ni Kevin. It's a movie, about family I guess. Walang pakialam yung parents niya sa kanya, iniisip lang nila is money. Somehow, nakaka-relate ako sa kanya. I never felt my parents' love. They are physically present, but I can't feel them.

Biglang bumalandra sa harap ko ang isang panyo. Tinignan ko si Kevin at yung panyo. I was about to get the handkerchief but Kevin started wiping my tears.

"I don't know that you're such a cry baby." He said at pinalapit niya ko sa kanya at tinap niya yung likod ko. Sumandal ako sa shoulders niya at umiyak.

"It's just a movie Denise, don't cry over movies." He said. Hindi niya ko naiintindihan. Walang nakakaintindi saken when it comes to my family problems. Only Josiah.

"I can feel what she feels. Alam ko kung anong pakiramdam ng binabalewala ng parents ang feelings ng anak nila. I know what it feels like. I know how much it hurts. Hindi nila alam yung pakiramdam na parang walang pumoprotekta sa kanila. Walang nakakaintindi don. Iniisip nilang ang babaw magisip ng mga ganyang anak but no, hindi nila alam kung gaano kasakit yung ganyan. They just don't know how we feel." I sob. I felt Kevins hands on my shoulders. Para kaming magkayapos dito sa sofa.

"Ssh. I know what you feel. Stop now, don't cry please Denise. I don't want to see you cry from now on. I'll be the one protecting you from now on, I promise Denise I'll always be here." He said as he hugged me tight.

"From now on, I'll be the one wiping your tears away. I'll protect you from what makes you feel bad. I hate cheesy line but always remember, when you feel bad I'm always here for you Denise, I can always be your shoulder to cry on. I will never be tired wiping your tears away. Never..." He said as I felt him kissed my forehead and hugs me tightly.

Somehow, I feel comfortable in his arms. I feel safe.
