Knowing nothing

"Oh my gosh! Ang gwapo talaga ng boyfriend mo Denise!" Sigaw ni Ashley saken kase sobrang ingay. Napa-tikhim ako sa sinabe niya. Swerte ako kay Jos, I know. Pero ngayon? Hindi na siya akin kase hindi na kame pwede. I'll be getting married next week and there's no more chance for Jos and I. Tinignan ako ni Trisha at nginitian ko na lang siya. I know she knows what I feel. Di ko pa nasasabe sa kanya ang breakup namen ni Jos pero I know she'll understand. Maybe later, I'll tell her.

Nung nag-time out, umalis ang basketball team ng Westbridge at unti-unti ulit silang lumabas galing sa shower room at may dalang placards. Kasabay naman ng pagtunog ng cellphone ko.

It's Papa calling so I immediately answered it. Medyo kinabahan pa ko dahil may dinner nga pala kame with the Kram's later. I almost forgot siguro kaya tinatawagan na ko is I'm late. Oh no.

"Denise go to the school parking lot. Now." He said at hindi man lang ako hinintay magsalita. Dahil sa kaba kong baka magalit si papa ay tumakbo na ko paalis sa gym at hindi man lang ako nakapag-paalam kay Ashley at Trisha. Tumahimik sa loob ng gym and I don't know why. I wanna check out what's happening pero I need to be on our car immediately.

Pinagbuksan agad ako ng driver namen ng pinto and I throw myself in the back seat. Wala naman sila Papa dito.

"Manong sila Papa po?"tumingin saken si manong from the mirror at tumingin ulit sa daan.

"Nasa bahay niyo po Mam." Sagot ni manong kaya tumango nalang ako. Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko dahil sa sunod-sunod na vibration.

I feel sorry for Jos but I understand you :( I love you Denise! I'm always here for you. I understand kung bakit ka tumakbo. Are you okay?

Bruh what was that about?

Denise, Josiah's a mess now. We don't understand but were also here for you tol.

What did just happened Denise? Are you okay? Were on the state of confusion right now.

Nagulat ako sa messages. May iba pang messages at halos pare-pareho. Ba't daw tumakbo ako? Ba't daw nireject ko? What happened? Anong ginawa ko? I don't understand.

I saw the latest message and it was from Dana, the girl who likes no, loves Josiah. At inaway niya ko dati dahil sa naging kami ni Josiah.

Hey you! How dare you reject Josiah? Ang kapal naman talaga ng mukha mong ipahiya sa harap ng maraming tao si Josiah. And oh, thank you for being the inspiration of Josiah on making our school's basketball team lose, what a good job Denise! For the first time we lose, for the first time Josiah lose on track and everything's because of you. It's all your motherfucking fault. Napaka-arte mo. Hindi mo iniisip kung sino ang sinayang mo. Many girls wish to be on your position because Josiah loves you so much and ngayon ganito pa gagawin mo? Damn you! I really hate your fucking attitude. I wanna bitch slap you bitch, sana di na ginawa ni Josiah yun kanina. I wish na ako nalang yung ginawan niya non and I'm very sure na I will not reject him di gaya ng ginawa mo.

I rejected Jos? And what does she mean? Natalo ang team namen because Jos lose on track? I'm so confused right now. Hindi ko alam kung anong nangyayare. Marami akong nabasang tweets saken ng schoolmates namen sa twitter. Yung iba sinisisi ako at tina-trashtalk ako dahil sa ginawa kong pagre-reject daw kay Jos, pero others give me their sympathy. What did I really do? I'm so messed up!

Nang tumigil ang sasakyan, I found myself crying. Sobrang sakit kase di ko alam kung anong nangyayare. And everybody's been judging me without me knowing what happened. Did I hurt Josiah again? Oh damn. I wanna give up. I just want to.

I don't want to be the cause of all his pain. What's happening? Could someone please tell me.

Trisha, please meet me tomorrow.

This is the only thing I know that would help. Trisha's the only one I know that could help me right now.
