A few minutes later, there was a knock on my door. I opened it and it revealed Spencer. She greeted me with a smile, and I let her inside the caravan. "Great timing, I was just about to make dinner", I informed her. "No, no. You don't have to. My Mom made dinner and she asked me if I wanted to take something with me, so I did. The only thing we have to do is warm it up", she told me and held a bowl with some very good-looking food in there. "Are you sure?", I asked. I didn't want her to feel like she needed to bring me food just because I couldn't buy myself some fancy food. "Of course. And my mom offered so I accepted."

We heated the food up and just decided to watch a movie on her computer. Soon it was time for us to sleep because after the movie, we talked for hours and the next thing I knew it was already two in the morning. So, we decided to go to sleep. She insisted to sleep on the couch but then I told her that she was my guest, and I wasn't going to let my guest sleep on the couch. We went back and forth for a while. In the end, we both ended up sleeping in my bed. It was very nerve wrecking for me because, I mean, this was my crush we're talking about. Sleeping in my bed. I am allowed to freak out on the inside, okay?

I woke up the next morning finding the space next to me empty. I sat up in my bed and there was a really nice smell coming up my nose. A smell I haven't smelt in a long time. Pancakes? What the hell. I don't even have the ingredients for pancakes.

I quickly got up and went out to the kitchen. There was I sight I never imagined seeing. There was Spencer, making pancakes in my kitchen. "Good morning", she greeted me, and I needed a few seconds to realize she was talking to me. I guess I was staring for too long. "Good morning", I said while slowly walking towards her, "Why are you making pancakes?"

"Well, I woke up like half an hour ago and I remember something you told me yesterday. You basically said that you haven't eaten breakfast in a while, so I decided to go to the trailer park's shop and buy all the stuff that I needed for pancakes. I hope you're alright with that", she said sheepishly. "Of course, I'm alright with that, Spence. But you have to know that I don't want you to pity me", I told her honestly. "Don't worry, I'm not pitying you. I am doing a nice gesture for a friend." Ouch, friend zoned by my crush.

I just stood there, not saying anything. No one has ever done something that nice for me. "Don't just stand there, sit down and say thank you", she said. She probably noticed me standing there like a lost puppy, not knowing what to do. I complied and sat down. A few minutes later she was done and served us the pancakes. "Thank you so much, Spencer", I told her with the most honesty I could. "You're very welcome. Now, eat up."

When I took the first bite of the pancakes, I swear I almost moaned. I forgot how good this was. Having breakfast. Having pancakes for breakfast. I don't even remember the last time I ate a proper breakfast. Must've been a few years ago.

I can't believe she did all this just for me. I mean, probably for her too because she had to eat something as well but still, she said she thought about what I said yesterday. It made me all warm and fuzzy.

We finished the very delicious breakfast Spencer made for us. I was still baffled that she did all this. After we washed the dishes, we decided to meet up with the girls at the Brew. I was having so much fun hanging out with the girls. I also loved the dynamic we all had. Every time one of us was sad or had a hard day, we'd always be there for that person without hesitation. Never had I ever thought I would have friends someday.

Our time at the Brew came to an end after a few hours and I made a very big decision. I was going to show the other girls where I lived. They were going to hear my story too. Well, at least the things I told Spencer. It was perfect timing for that because we all agreed on staying over at Spencer's anyways so I could easily show them my home.

We met at Spencer's at around 5 and when all of us were there, I told them that there was something very important I wanted to show them. When we stood in front of my caravan, I unlocked the door and let all of them enter before me. They were looking at me with confusion written all over their faces and I decided to clarify the situation. So, I did. And I was shocked by their reaction too because they reacted the same as Spencer did the night before. I was so overwhelmed that I started to cry again. I was embarrassed but they all assured me that it was okay to cry because they now knew I wasn't used to this kind of affection.

We all stayed at my trailer a bit before going back to Spencer's house and having dinner. Spencer's parents were out so we just ordered some pizza. It was my first time eating pizza in like four years or something. It was so great. The whole evening (and day) was just perfect. One of the best days/nights I've ever had. We were watching a lot of movies with tons of popcorn and for the whole evening I was cuddled up to Spencer's side. It was the best feeling ever. Having someone you like so close to you... there's no better feeling than this. We also talked about Spencer's break up and she said that she's still hung up on him. It wasn't a nice thing to hear but what can I do? When you break up with someone you had feelings for it doesn't just go away.

It got pretty late so we all decided to sleep at like 2 in the morning. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed that Spencer was missing, and the other girls were still fast asleep. I instantly started to feel worried. Where is she? And what time is it even? I looked at the clock on my phone and saw that it was currently 6:49. No seriously, what could she be doing at this time of the day?

I got up and started to look for Spencer and decided that the best place to start this would be in her room, so I went there. I was glad that I found her sitting at her desk looking up something on Google. I could only merely make out what she was looking at. The only word I could make out was 'test'. What the hell? "Spencer?", I asked, and I swear I never saw someone turn around that quickly, while closing their laptop may I say. I was impressed. "Oh, it's just you", she answered while letting out a deep breath.

I chuckled at her and wondered, "What test are you taking at seven in the fucking morning?" She looked nervous for some reason. She was avoiding my gaze as well. "It's nothing, it's just... stupid", she said while looking anywhere but my eyes. "I'm not so sure it's nothing, Spence". "What makes you say that?" "Well, you seem nervous. You're avoiding eye contact. You fumble with your fingers. I mean if you don't want to tell me then that's fine with me but please just tell me that instead of saying that it's nothing", I told her.

She opened her mouth but closed it again. She was hesitating. "Well, you see", she started, "I think..."
