Calvinn's POV

"I have a very important task and a favor to ask, Calvinn John..." Chairman Marcos said that made me a bit nervous. Ano naman kaya ang ang favor niya? Tho, I remain silent at nakinig lang sa kaniya.

"Johnny and I already talked about this... All I want is your approval." Chairman Marcos said.

"What is it, Chairman?" I confusedly asked.

"You will graduate this year, right? You're going to be an Engineer soon. I am planning to build a new Branch of Walter Hospital in my hometown next year, and I want you to handle it."

May ibinigay siyang brown envelope na naglalaman ng isang contract and... a logo of Walter State University with a name on its back.

"And that... A favor to ask... I want you to watch over my granddaughter... I am planning to go back to the Philippines next year, together with Vincent. And I know something bad might happen to her... She'd been bullied because of her secret. She doesn't like anyone to know about her relationship with the Marcos... And I want you to watch her every move in WSU, until everything is settled."

"But... How am I going to do that?" I asked confusedly.

"Simple, you'll be part of faculty member in WSU."

And everything were planned. I was so damn frustrated the moment Chairman Marcos only gave the name of his granddaughter and other infos, he didn't even gave a picture of her. How am I going to know her!?

Lolo Johnny also told me about their settlement. And it is also because of their partnership.

What will I do? Accepting his offer for the WH project? Yet rejecting his favor? And I wanna help Lolo to make Chairman Marcos sign their contact for being the new business partner of our company.

When I graduated, I decided to go back to Cebu. Where my cousins and relatives are staying.

"Where are you going, kuya?" Tanong ni Nicole nang makita niya akong pasakay sa kotse ko.

"Mamamasyal." Maikli kong sagot.

"Sama~ Sige na~" pangungulit niya.

"Diba may pinapagawa pa si Auntie sayo? Next time ka nalang sumama." Agad akong sumakay sa sasakyan naiwan naman siyang nakanguso sa labas, napailing nalang ako at umalis na ng bahay.

I don't know where should I go. Boring lang sa bahay kaya naisipan kong lumabas.

Hindi ko alam kung ilang oras na ako nag lilibot-libot. Until mapapadpad ako sa isang park. Maganda ang simoy ng hangin dahil nasa gilid lang ng dagat.

Nag stay ako sa isang bench ng ilang minuto bago ko maisipang umalis.

Habang nag lalakad ay may nakita akong babae na naglalakad patungo sa dereksiyon ko, busy siya kaka'cellphone. Hindi ko na siya pinansin ng mag vibrate ang cellphone ko.

It was a message coming from my Lolo, aniya nasa bahay daw siya.

Suddenly, I got bumped to someone and my phone fell together with her. Agad ko itong pinulot at ibinigay sa kaniya ang isa. I got a quick glance on her to saw her face.

"Sorry." That's all I said at nagmadali ng umalis para makauwi ng bahay.

That night, I opened my phone. I thought akin 'yun. Pero pang babae ang lockscreen. I opened it out of curiosity, mabuti nalang walang password. I look at her albums, yun ang una kong inopen.
