⚙️ Dean's pov ⚙️

"I'm going to miss you, are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Rushane asked unwilling to let me leave in peace.

I chuckled at his facial expression and he smiled widely at me, if only I thought as I peck his forehead.

"Bye," I told him and went to board my flight.

I wish I could love him but I don't think I was going to be able to love another man, my emotions were damaged. I had a great two months with him and I smile at how we had met, me trying to bowl and tripping him by accident. He said I had to buy him a drink to apologise and I took a leap of faith and told him that I was horny- which he gladly obliged me and fulfil my needs.

I had left his apartment thinking I won't ever see him again only for him to turn up as the boss that had been on vacation. I had hid and went out of the meeting room, telling myself I didn't need the job anyway and left. He had turned up at my apartment telling me he was horny and ask if I could return the favor he had grant me. I had tried to run him away and end up crying at how kindly he spoke to me.

He had made passionate love to me and left the apartment early like I had done, but he had returned with takeout that evening and we talked, exchanged numbers and became sexual friends. When I found out he was rich I told him it wouldn't work out and now I'm not planning to come back here, I will be going elsewhere after my graduation.

I rented a car when the plane land and went and booked in at the Pegasus hotel, I sorted and what I needed and was ready for my graduation. I graduated with honours, what should've taken three to fours years I did in two and I felt extremely proud of myself as I walk across the stage. Only my classmates were here and they cheered for me, I was quite fine with that.

Two days later I drive home and surprised my mother in the grocery store. "I'm glad to see you," I told her.

"Antoine sey him a guh kill yuh fi him money," she says in utter distress.

"Him fi guh kill himself," I told her.

"Him practically a mad eno, mi fraid fi tan ina di house," she said.

"Yuh fraid fi tell him fi cum out?" I ask her.

"Erica find some file and him gun and him up and dung from when, a it mek him nuh dey dey now," she said.

"Good, I'll go look on my babies before going," I told her as she stood looking at me in surprise.

"I only came for my graduation, here put up these safely," I said giving her the bag with my graduation things.

She began to cry hugging me fiercely. "I'm so proud of you," she said.

"You are supposed to," I tell her and checked the time on my phone.

"Mi a guh call Cam," she said.

"Tell her to hurry, mi want to leave before Athonia call har bitch and him reach here," I tell her.

Anthonia was surprise when she saw me, I smile and asked. "Antoine nuh get the house fi buy yet?"

"Yuh know yuh terrible Dean, mi fraid fi you and Antoine ino," she said.

"Fraid fi him, mi want him outta mi house suh mi can come home. I don't fraid a him, but him better fraid a me- I'm going to kill him if him ever try fi duh mi nutn," I told her sternly.

"Mind wey yuh a sey over di baby dem head," she remarked.

"Tsk, memba fi tell him wey mi sey. Mi waan can shit in peace," I tossed over my shoulder walking into the house.
