POV: Chloe

The door was open and I could see freedom, as Kenny - my kidnapper - was distracted. He had left me unchained and the door open. I slipped two sandals on, and took off. With each step, I thanked my lucky stars that I had been running track for years. I could hear him behind me, screaming for me to come back. I kept going, my feet pounding the pavement of the road. I looked around the road, trying to find someone out in the open that could help me. Kenny had stopped yelling, but I could still hear him behind me. I had to lose him if I was ever going to actually be free. I ducked into the woods and kept running, dodging tree branches and roots.

I managed to break free onto another road. I took a second, locating a house with several large SUVs sitting in the driveway. I made my way towards the door, to find it unlocked. I slipped inside and shut the door behind me, locking it. As I turned around, I came face to face with several very familiar faces.

I raised my hands up, showing I was not a threat.

"Who the hell are you and why are you just walking into my house?" One of the taller players asked. I knew who she was, being who I was, how could I not.

"You're Hope Solo." I whispered softly, before the other occupants of the room looked at me. "I'm sorry... I just..."

"Why do you look familiar?" Another familiar voice said - Kelley O'Hara.

"I need help..." I could feel myself getting overwhelmed and exhausted. I may have been a world class athlete at one point, but I had not been able to even walk much over the last year, let alone run. I had just ran, god knows how far. I sank to the floor, leaning against the door behind me.

Another familiar face, Ashlyn Harris, stepped forward with a bottle of water. I couldn't stop myself from flinching as she stepped forward. Ashlyn stopped and set the bottle down on the floor in front of me. She raised her hands to show she was not a threat. She stepped backwards, back into the crowd.

A brief thought crossed my mind, wondering if She was here. I gently grabbed the bottle and took a few sips, before capping it and holding it to my chest. "Thank you."

Hope spoke up again. "So who are you?"

Before I could speak up, there was a knock on the door above me. I froze suddenly terrified. A very shocking and spine-chilling voice spoke up from behind the door.

"She's my girlfriend and she's mentally unwell. Can you let me in so I can get her home please?" Kenny spoke, as I could feel his eyes on me through the window.

I could feel my body start to shake as I looked at the women. Most of them were looking between me and Kenny utterly confused.

"Baby, we talked about this. You can't just go running off like this. You need to come home and take your medicine." Kenny said, his voice sickly sweet.

I looked at him for a second before looking back at Hope. I could tell she was seeing something on my face. Without really thinking about it, I began to tap on the floor. Ashlyn moved, but I couldn't tell what she was doing.

POV: Third Person

Ashlyn noticed the pattern in the tapping and realized it was Morse Code. she grabbed a notepad and pen, scribbling down the letters that she was catching. She finally got the whole message and she gasped softly. She turned to her fiancee, Ali, and spoke softly.

"Ali, call the cops, now. I don't know what's going on between them, but she is literally begging for help." Ash said, showing Ali the notepad. Ali paled a bit, before she pulled out her phone and slipped out of the room so she couldn't be heard.
